Palin interview causes stir

(CNN) - It’s the ultimate holiday photo-op for any governor: the yearly pardoning of a turkey to spare it from demise days before Thanksgiving.
But former Republican VP candidate Sarah Palin is causing a stir for an interview she gave after pardoning an Alaska turkey Thursday, during which one bird was being slaughtered in the background.
Palin appeared unaware of what was going on directly behind her, though she did seem to take a glance at the unfortunate event at one particular point during the interview.
"It's nice to support a local business and just participate in something that isn't so heavy handed politics that invites criticism," Palin said during the interview. "Certainly will probably invite criticism for even doing this too, but at least it was fun."
"I am always in charge of the turkey so I am where I need to be today to prepare for that," she also said.

Palin has a good life in Alaska. They really know how to live. They are glad to be away from the lower 48. They hunt, fish, visit turkey farms, ride snowmobiles, and have dog races. They all have healthy looking skin because of the weather. If Palin was ugly, the critics would leave her alone.

I hope she announces soon that she's running for pres in 2012. Obama isn't nearly as funny and as a fan of Jon Stewart, I know dear Sarah will provide him with hours...and hours...and hours of material. And I will just gobble it up.

If we're comfortable electing someone into office that can't speak (and who has a journalism degree), then I'm all for it. But I guess that's what happens when you switch colleges more than five times to end up with a degree from a community college.

SO WHAT? THIS is news?? Why don't you stop dissing Sarah Palin? Couldn't the cameraperson crop the shot differently? If it were Barack Obama, you would have reported that he raised the turkey from the dead.
