Pro-Palin 'thank you' ads hit the airwaves

The Our Country Deserves Better PAC has begun running spots in Alaska - two 60-second ads, and two 30-second versions — that pay tribute to Palin, with plans to expand the ad buy to the rest of the country sometime this week.
"Governor Palin inspired millions of Americans by fighting for common sense conservative principles in a positive and uplifting manner," chief strategist Sal Russo said in a statement. "I worked with President Ronald Reagan since his first days in the California Governor’s Office, and I can tell you that I see so many similarities between President Reagan and Governor Palin."
The 60-second Thanksgiving-themed spot — which comes days after footage of a Palin interview on a turkey farm hit the airwaves — also points to the Alaska governor's fondness for moose chili as a turkey alternative.
The PAC - which sponsored the "Stop Obama Now" bus tour during the campaign season - said it plans to spend at least $50,000 airing the ads in Alaska. It has not yet released details of the ad buy on national broadcast and cable networks.

As a republican, I'm seeing Palin putting Palin first and I hope for a serious Republican change in leadership as our country changes. So much damage has been done and there are core values of our party that are still great for America.

Reagan didn't care about women's issues whatsoever. He set women back years until Clinton came on board.
The Republican party is a dying breed. They even swear by their dark suits, which must mean they are preparing for their own collective funeral.
Sarah Palin is a chippie at best.
The problem with Palin is not that she's "conservative" or that those who dislike her are "lefties". The problem is that she's a nitwit. Surely Republicans can come up with someone better than her in 2012. If not, their party is indeed in serious trouble.
Oh, and she ran her campaign in a "positive" and "uplifting" manner? I must have been watching the wrong campaign, because I just saw her slinging mud at her opponent and foisting out red meat to her bloodthirsty supporters.
Certainly this leftover PAC hate money could've been put to better use.
I would like to thank her for her divisivness, negativism, lack of depth, and most of all...LACK OF INTELLIGENCE AND READING SKILLS. She gave the USA a black eye not only domestically ...but also internationally. She set Women's causes back a decade. THANK YOU SO MUCH !!! She alone drove this moderate voter AWAY from the Republican Party. You folks need to get your noses out of the Bible and other Peoples Business and get a clue !!!!
All of you screaming to use the money to feed the hungry...what about the ridiculous amount of money being spent on the inauguration? That would surely feed many more unemployed Americans than the $50,000 spent on these ads, wouldn't it? So far, it's still a free country where we are free to choose on what we spend our money.

While Alaskans may be inspired by Palin, I think we're safe to say the fringe right are a shrinking minority in this country.
I, too, want to thank Gov Palin for all her tireless campaiging. A new star has emerged. I look forward to the next election, where she will shine through. Palin 2012!!!

And for all the people insulting this woman's brain capacity, what have you ever accomplished? You are the first one's to degrade this self made woman who became a Governor before the age of 44. What have you ever done besides sit here and hate? If you actually had accomplishments of you own, you wouldn't feel so threatened by her. If you're going to put Gov. Palin down, I suggest you stop hiding behind your made up screen names and stand behind your identity, age, education and accomplishments. Otherwise shut up you cowards.

Please...oh pleae keep running these ads. I have tried desperately to convince the executive management at realldolls.com to produce a Sarah Palin look-a-like doll with a button in the back that makes her say "Drill baby! Drill!" when you press it. This may just carry the day for me! And besides, we want to enshrine the Democrats in 2012 and she's just the vechicle to um...ride.
Ms. Palin should consider doing a centerfold in a fundamentalist christian magazine. She can be saying something clever like "America is a Christian country" or "we're fighting a Holy War in Iraq". They just don't make morons like they used to.

The thought of Miz Palin presenting the State of the Union address in some distant future just kills me. My mute button is already worn out from her appearing on the news during the campaign. She needs voice and grammar lessons desperately if she is ever to be taken seriously. Oh, and an education on current events would be helpful too so she can answer questions with a modicum of intelligence.
Give it a rest already! She has run her course. There are many more pressing problems than Sarah Palin to be addressed! And in the current economical world that money could be better spent, like maybe, helping Alaskans to meet their financial obligations. Get real people!

I am a republican who was absolutely turned off by Ms. Palin. She was a female version of Karl Rove, with out the mental ability and smarts to be on center stage. And her accomplisments are she was able to beat a corrupt politician and become governor of a state that has ablout as many people as this website and of a state that is still counting election ballots from Nov. 4th.

2 kids who are happy and relatively normal
Successful career
Mentor of inner city kids
member of 3 different boards/focus on kids
I hope this helps you understand the type of person who is not a Palin supporter. She represents all that is bad in the country and the world. If she wasn't pretty, by some standards, she wouldn't have been invited to the party. She has done more to set women back with her lame attempt to flirt her way to the 2nd highest position in this land.
