Obama team reacts to Mumbai attacks

[cnn-photo-caption image= caption="Obama’s transition team reacted to the shootings in Mumbai."](CNN) - The Obama Transition team's chief national security spokesperson, Brooke Anderson, released a statement late Wednesday reacting to the attacks in Mumbai, India:

"President-Elect Obama strongly condemns today's terrorist attacks in Mumbai, and his thoughts and prayers are with the victims, their families, and the people of India. These coordinated attacks on innocent civilians demonstrate the grave and urgent threat of terrorism. The United States must continue to strengthen our partnerships with India and nations around the world to root out and destroy terrorist networks. We stand with the people of India, whose democracy will prove far more resilient than the hateful ideology that led to these attacks.”

Lauren you are so stupid if your have any brains at all Bush is still the president shouldn't you still say he again is being tested while the terriost get closer to the states all because he wanted to do things his way.He should have left the office when Rumsfeld left. You and AWARE have so much in common the way you think one would only wonder if you both get a thrill out of countries being attacked because if you didn't you would offer some kind of sympathy for those lives lost and injured today instead of attacking Obama

This fire is still raging and people want to throw rhetoric around instead of dousing the flames first? If you haven't noticed, Bush is still the president.

Hello, George Bush is still President, where is he? Obama can do nothing. He is in charge of nothing. It is not his responsibility. What is the Bush administration doing? Where are they? What statement did Bush make? Missing in action as usual.

    Obama is right!

Thank god the EVIL Bush will be out of the White House so a REAL Leader can take over. Bush sure did leave this world a terrible mess. Well, some of the blame has to go to RELIGIOUS freaks that try to force their beliefs on others...hmmm, sounds like the same kinda religious bigots that spent 20 million dollars (instead of feeding the homeless) on anti-gay props here in America!

Isn't BUSH still in office? Hmmm.....

It's like Obama is volunteering his leadership before his term actually begins on January to be the true leader of this country. Why doesn't Bush just resign now and let a real leader in Obama officially take the reins. At least he could officially implement his thought-out policies without stepping on toes. Bush is so pathetic and I can't wait to see him officially leave with the OFFICIAL title as BULLY IN CHIEF and WORST PRESIDENT EVER.

You can see there is a group of people who is out there to get Obama. George Bush is still in-charged, except for the economy. If he's that good against terrorism, why can't he stop this terrorist attack in the first place?

Obama would gain Islamic fundamentalism's respect if he would just make a statement that if they thought Bush was tough on them, wait until he gets in office and they will really know what tough means! (My wishful thinking because no Democrat will ever have the capacity to deal with these monsters)
