Has Palin snubbed Oprah?

[cnn-photo-caption image= caption="Oprah says she wants Palin on her show."]

(CNN) - Did Sarah Palin snub Oprah Winfrey?

That's what the most popular daytime talk show host and fervent Barack Obama supporter appeared to suggest in a recent interview with the entertainment show Extra.

"I said I would be happy to talk to Sarah Palin when the election was over... I went and tried to talk to Sarah Palin and instead she talked to Greta [Van Susteren]. She talked to Matt [Lauer]. She talked to Larry [King]. But she didn't talk to me.”

Winfrey’s comments came in response to rumors she refused to invite the former vice presidential candidate on her popular daytime show.

Earlier this week, the talk show host announced she will tape her inauguration week show in the nation’s capital, and has rented the Kennedy Center’s lush Opera House – which seats roughly 2,300 — to serve as her studio.

“There are not even words to talk about what this night means,” Oprah said of Obama's inauguration. “Everybody keeps using the word historic — there’s never been a night like this on the planet earth… Nothing can compare to this.”

Didn't your Mother's ever tell you that if you didn't have anything nice to say – don't say anything.
You are certainly entitled to your opinion but many of us have great respect for Governor Palin. Our opinion counts just as greatly as yours.

the fact of the matter is that ms. palin is the racist and probably the vast majority of her supporters. i never once saw her make a kind jesture to a single black person (unless of course they were talking about killing Obama.) you people have got some nerve, but we've got your number. thank GOD it won't take until 2047 to put you in the minority once and for all! the narrow-minded repugnican (so-called conservative right-wing, "christian right", "you betcha" party) should have wiped before getting up. you really smell of hate and bigotry. we all know that Obama is no terrorist sympothizer but you guys simply won't let it alone. you had better "check yourselves before you wreck yourselves". either except a free and fair america or there may be no america in our future.

If Oprah really want Sarah P. on her show, all she had to do was offer her a little money like......... $150,000.
Sarah, the RNC gave you $150,000, but don't think for one moment, that you are getting this from the Queen of the daytime talk shows.
Most of you that blogged negatively about Oprah, will tune in to watch the show, just like many of you went behind the curtain and voted for Obama. Saying one thing and doing another is considered a hypocrite!

Remember that old saying, "actions speak louder than words"? Well, apply that platitude to Governor Sarah Palin and she appears pallid – as a politician, as a mother, and as a role model. Her "fame"
    is fading, quickly.

While we can argue with racial issues, this campaign brought out the ignorance and hatred in a lot of people. As an american, who like any real american is christian and has decent moral character, I do not see how you people could have voted in such a person who believes in ABORTION, LYING, STEM CELL RESEARCH to the uneducated voters(killing more unborn babies); TAKING AWAY GUNS, AND TAXING CHUCHES, WHICH WILL DO AWAY WITH CHRISTIANITY. So, to you OHB supporters, where will you be on judgement day, or will you call on Obama for your change?

Oprah is far too intelligent to have to attempt to carry on a conversation with ms bimbo palin. That person is just not right in the head. Why are people still supporting her? They must be as dumb as she is. Oprah is a beautiful carrying person. palin has done nothing to help mankind.

While I don't watch Oprah - or any daytime show (I have a full and interesting life outside that), she seemed like a fairly objective person. However, this comment of hers is just UNBELIEVABLE. I would say man's first landing on the moon outranks Obama's inauguration, Oprah!

I'm so sick of hearing about Palin. Why do the news media keep giving her air time? She's the most uninformed person that's ever run for ofice

Oprah certainly doesn't need Palin. Oprah's the richest woman in the world, and she can buy and sell the state of Alaska.

Why should Sarah Palin appear on Oprah now when she wouldn't have her on during the campaign. She owes her nothing. Good for Sarah! Enertainers and celebrities need to realize that espousing their political views on their programs turn off viewers who do not believe as they do. I now refuse to watch any of these programs including news media who do not present both sides of the issues. Many of them don't even pretend to be unbiased anymore. I am also beginning to pay attention to the advertisers who use these platforms and will not buy their products.

You know, you Obama-haters need to stop living in the past. Deal with the fact that you all lost. Whether or not you like Oprah or not - Palin is just a Barbie prop with an annoying voice and I am GLAD she is not going on Oprah.

She should actually ghostwrite George Bush's book - wouldn't that be an easy read - HA!
