Has Palin snubbed Oprah?

[cnn-photo-caption image= caption="Oprah says she wants Palin on her show."]

(CNN) - Did Sarah Palin snub Oprah Winfrey?

That's what the most popular daytime talk show host and fervent Barack Obama supporter appeared to suggest in a recent interview with the entertainment show Extra.

"I said I would be happy to talk to Sarah Palin when the election was over... I went and tried to talk to Sarah Palin and instead she talked to Greta [Van Susteren]. She talked to Matt [Lauer]. She talked to Larry [King]. But she didn't talk to me.”

Winfrey’s comments came in response to rumors she refused to invite the former vice presidential candidate on her popular daytime show.

Earlier this week, the talk show host announced she will tape her inauguration week show in the nation’s capital, and has rented the Kennedy Center’s lush Opera House – which seats roughly 2,300 — to serve as her studio.

“There are not even words to talk about what this night means,” Oprah said of Obama's inauguration. “Everybody keeps using the word historic — there’s never been a night like this on the planet earth… Nothing can compare to this.”

Oprah was just trying to be fair and give the empty headed moose killer a chance to appear on her show. For those right wing idiots on here calling Oprah "fat" , your more than likely fat yourselves. I am sure Palin would rather be fat than stupid as hell. That women only takes interviews from people who don't ask her intelligent questions any how who understands what that goof ball is trying to say anyway"IN AS THERE IS A HOWEVER" BLAH BLAH BLAH . I don't want to hear anything she has to say, I was sick of her during the campaign. The only reason the media is interested in her is because she is a circus clown and they like to make fun of her ignorance. She is a media joke. The Repugs will take any attention they can get even if it's Sara Palin who is a JOKE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and you stupid repugs actually believe in this nut. OMG!

First- I am not an Oprah-fanatic! I only watch her show every now and then as I find most of it cheesy. Second- In case you can't read between the lines, Oprah is being gracious when she speaks in a tone to suggest she actually wanted to interview Sarah Palin! Let's face it Palin is nothing but a bunch of sound bites (you betcha!) and colloquialisms -" I represent Joes six pack"-Duh! So, people, don't get it twisted, Oprah doesn't wine and doesn't care if Palin does or doesn't speak to her, she was only being gracious! And life goes on!!!

Why does CNN insist on reporting drama? CNN is becoming more and more like National Enquire.

to all those: there hasn't ever been a day like this, yes we've had plenty of other historically significant days, but never has a majority white country ever elected any man/woman of any color. So yes, nothing like this has ever happened. Is this the most significant moment ever? Maybe not, that can be debated between people, but has there ever been a specific moment like this? No.

Hey Oprah, invite Maryline Blackburn instead; she can tell you all about the 1984 Miss Alaska contest in which she won and Palin was runner-up!

Do any of these Palin people really think she matters?
She doesn't. She wants to but she doesn't. Except in the narrow minds of the extreme right. And, as we all know, extremisits don't usually care much about anyone but themselves and forcing what they perceive to be moral and correct on everyone else.

if palin(the pitbull in lipstick) did snub Oprah. Oprah should be GLAD. miss talk in circles palin would drive Oprah and the audiance CRAZY. the woman is unable to complete a sentence or a thought. she is dumb as a stump. Oprah should just have her 9 or 10 year old daughter. She would give better answers. If that is true, that is one show I WILL NOT BE WATCHING. And for the people that think Oprah "snubbed pitbull in lipstick", she can have whomever she wants on her show just like fox news.

I think it's very petty and childish of Sarah Palin to refuse to go on Oprah. I thought she was better than that.

If I was Sara I wouldn't go on a show that has been the voice for the criminal (Obama) either. Sorry that Sara didn't want to be your afterthought...maybe if you had tried to be even a little bit objective she might have considered it.

We've seen way too much of Sarah Palin as it is. Sick, sick, sick to death of her. Oprah kept her word by inviting her but we all know she's glad Palin didn't accept. Next...

For A Woman In California For Obama: What inside information do you have that you can call the Palin children uneducated? Do you have their report cards, letters from their teachers or other documentation. Before you make such a statement make sure that you can back up your allegation. Looking at the Palin children, unless you prove me wrong, they don't look uneducated.

Sarah Palin is absolutely a nobody compared to Oprah Winfrey. I strongly believe that Oprah doesn't give two cents about that creepy woman. Oprah breathes popularity, Sarah will be "gone with the wind" soon!

SP needs to concentrate on her weird family and unemployed, perverted looking husband rather than always trying to be in the spotlight.
