Rove vows to 'name names'

[cnn-photo-caption image= caption="Rove says he will name his enemies in a new book."]

(CNN) - Enemies of President Bush take heed: Karl Rove is set to name names.

The man widely credited with Bush's two presidential victories says his new book will include an accounting of those in Washington who never accepted the president as a legitimate commander-in-chief.

"I've got behind-the-scenes episodes that are going to show how unreceiving they were of this man as president of the United States," Rove told Cox News in an interview published Sunday. "I'm going to name names and show examples."

Rove signed a deal with publishing giant Simon & Schuster last year, reported be worth over $1.5 million.

In the wide-ranging interview, Rove also suggested the criticisms the president and his aides took were partly because they were not part of the Washington establishment.

"You'll notice there was outrage when it was thought that I was the person behind outing Valerie Plame. And then when it came out that it was the sainted [Deputy Secretary of State] Richard Armitage, there was no interest," Rove said. "I don't remember seeing anybody camped out on his doorstep like they were camped out on mine. [It's]because he was part of the acceptable culture of Washington, and I was not. I was one of those Texans who came up. He was one of those perpetual I'll-scratch-your-back-if-you'll-scratch-mine Washington leakers. "

Goodness, just look at the bile and hatred from the political Left for Karl Rove. CNN zombies at their finest. Frothing at the mouth hatred for Bush, Rove, the military. The "blame America first" crowd in full view.

It'll all change for Obama. Rubber stamping media doesn't sell after a while. Witness today's bancpuptcy filing for the company that owns two liberal rags in Chicago and LA.

/* The hatred from the left never ceases to amaze me. Open minded liberals love to hate those they never met, never spoke to, and never heard from behind closed doors. CNN throws the word "Rove" out there and ever liberal with a computer starts typing. If liberals focused more on their own lives than chasing shadows they might just learn something. */

Let's review the past 8 years, Tommy: we've spend billions of dollars and thousands of lives on a poorly managed war. The economy's on the verge of collapse. An American city spent six months underwater. And the rest of the world hates our guts because of "screw everyone but us" diplomacy. If that's not supposed to make me angry, what is?

Guess what, Karl, you've got the reason all wrong. It would be far-fetched to think Bush and his little clique would be warmly received after all the irresponsible dealings and failure to be a leader of good judgement. You can try to generate as much publicity as you want, but I'm still not going to contribute to your corrupt circle by buying your book. I hope it rots on the the store shelves.

Why isn't Karl Rove in jail?
    What happened to that subpoena?

It's funny that all of you are saying Bush was never your president are the same people saying we should accept BO as our president. But then again, hypocrisy is one of the founding tenants of the Democrats.

It is so nice to see that so many people have no concept of how their personal safety was protected by the so disliked President Bush. These people obviously have nothing else to do, even after Hussein became Pres. elect, other than to dump on George and Karl. Oh well, they will never amount to anything, especially high public office, so we can ignore them.

Your president stole the 2000 election, then stole the American people's credibility, money and future as part of your neo-con "fascism in the name of democracy" agenda. Go away & eat some freedom fries, fatso.

Speaking of naming names.. I think they should provide a public list after every vote in congress showing the names of every person and how they voted.

This takes the cake. This guy has been doing dirty tricks since he was in college. Read about some of his pranks in "Nixonland." What an unmitigated scumbag!!! Crawl back into the pool of human waste that you and the Bush administration crawled out of and shut-up. You are trying to re-write your legacy with the worst president and possibly one of the most pathetic world leaders in the last 100 years. What administration with so much (the wealth and power of the US) has done so little with it. The few thing they tried have been abject failures.
Have a look at their latest fiasco, the coast of Galveston, TX. Yesterday Condi Rice was saying that the war in Iraq was still a good idea. She, Rumsfeld and Colin Powell should all be tried for treason. They caused their own country to fall. Any time they dare show up in CT I will make sure that they are greeted like the traitors they are.

This once again shows his character, and lack of it. What a sad excuse for a person in a position of any power at all. I would hate to have to call him even an aquaintance.

Yep, all is well now that Washington will get back to being its normal self. Change you can count on. Rove is 100% correct.

Talk about a case of sour grapes.
    Consider this Mr. Rove:
Perhaps the fact you are an outsider to Washington has nothing to do with it at all.
Perhaps, the american people will never accept the smarmy and deceptive policies of the current administration, of which you have been such a part.
Have you learned nothing from the events of this past election campaign?
Time to step down, Mr. Rove, you have no power here.

This guy reminds me of the bully in the movie "Christmas Story" that finally got the tar beat out of him.

Rove is nothing but a bully, supporting another bully (Bush). Then, when push comes to shove you find out they're nothing but big wind bags.

Does Rove think anyone really cares if he "tattles".? Rove's days are over. He's a has been that left a nasty skid mark just like Bush. Carl, don't go away mad, just go away... Nobody cares....
