Obama Christmas to include turkey and ham dinner
(CNN) - President-elect Barack Obama's traditional Hawaiian Christmas includes opening presents with his family this morning, and dining on turkey and ham tonight.
The Obamas had spent past Christmases with the president-elect's grandmother Madelyn Dunham, a Hawaiian native, who died earlier this year. Obama attended a memorial service for Dunham earlier this week.
I wish they'd set another place for me. , ::she said, slurping her ramen noodles::::: I would love nice dinner right now .

On this Christmas day, this 75 year old grandmother truly wishes the very best for our president elect and his family. God and the world knows he is in for the ride of his life. Yes, our country is in a huge mess, and will be for some time to come. The blame game????? Hindsight is every thing isn't it? On this day, I also wish the best for President and Mrs. Bush. jb

Dang, I thought the Obamas were like everyday people. Everyone I know is having soup to eat, but this man who claims to be liike us is having an expensive turkey and ham dinner. So much for being like the rest of us, eh?
I hope that our President-Elect and his beautiful family have a wonderful Christmas!
I also hope that thanks to the new direction Obama is taking our country WE CAN ALL HAVE A HAPPY NEW YEAR!
But, he left out the fried chicken and watermelon. I'm sure that somewhere in the world you can get a watermelon on Christmas. I bet you can get them from Kenya.

I feel for your soul and the hatered within your heart. Something very bad must have happened to you somewhere in your life. For you to spew such hatered on Chistmas Day is very sad. With due respect, Madelyn Dunham was NOT a Hawaiian native. To be a Hawaiian native, you need to be born in Hawaii and have Hawaiian bloodlines. She was born in Kansas and relocated to Honolulu. There are few "Hawaiians" left. Most of us are considered "Kama'ainas" (those who have lived on the islands for a long time).
Please stop treating this guy like a celebrity!!!!!!! I don't want to know what my presidents body looks like in a swimming suit and neither do 90% of the world leaders!!!!

While I wish the President Elect and his family a happy holiday, I am getting a little tired of hearing so many irrelevant details about his life. What he is eating, how he looks in swimming trunks, what he and his wife are wearing to the inauguration...what I really care about is what he is going to do with the economy.
Who cares. CNN sucks. Is osama inviting you to dinner? It would seem only fair since you handed him the election.

Of course you can get watermelon from Kenya. It is our motherland. It's where life started. And by the way, I am African American and I love watermelon and chicken. If you think you are offending someone, you are not. The bottom line is that you now have a black president and you have to deal with it – the watermelon and chicken and every other "black" food. Sorry guy but your talk is not going to get Obama out of the White House.
It was America's ancestors that brought us blacks over here and now we are here to stay so deal with it. By the way, I thank them for bringing us over here because God has done amazing things for my grandparents' generation and many to come.
You don't like black people – then move. Soon, people of color will consume the American population. Hispanics are growing in numbers. So diversity is here to stay buddy. Being that the earth consists of 3/4 colored, you are going to have to find a remote location in order to get away from diversity.

Amber what election are you referring to? A landlside? is 52% a landslide? He just barely beat out Bush's numbers in 04'. Would you call Bush 04' a landslide? You Obamabots have got to realize that many people did not want him as President. And no they weren't all rednecks or racists. He is doing a GREAT job creating a good mix of cabinet members to appease those who were not for him.
