Obama's Hawaiian Christmas to be followed by quiet island New Year

The Obamas are planning to move into a DC hotel this weekend.

I hope Obama does well, I really do. But, even if he doesn't, people are already lined up with excuses for him. Its a win-win situation for him. If he succeeds, then everybody praises him.....if he fails, then its all Bush's fault. See, can't lose.
What's up with all these negative posts. Glad I'm not any of you! I know Barack will be a wonderful president. He is a very intelligent and caring person. He surrounds himself with the best and brightest.

to "Once you vote Black": What do you mean "He was born in Hawaii before it was a country?" Would you believe that Hawaii is NOT a country, and never has been! It became a STATE in 1959; Obama was born there in 1961. Please try not to show your ignorance so blantantly.

I'm very excited to have this new President. I know he will do great things, is in control and knows how to manage. A very smart man. I wish him all the best for the monumental tasks that will be his responsibility come Jan 20th and from what I've seen on the news, that man, our new President, is going to hit the ground running and start taking care of business. Shame on you, Bush, you could have done so much more.............
