Palin slams 'bored, anonymous, pathetic bloggers who lie'

The Alaska governor, who has granted a steady stream of interviews since Election Day, also told an Esquire reporter that she wishes she had told McCain campaign advisors she’d be “callin’ some of the shots.”
"Bored, anonymous, pathetic bloggers who lie annoy me....I'll tell you, yesterday the Anchorage Daily News, they called again to ask — double-, triple-, quadruple-check — who is Trig's real mom,” she said, in an interview to be published in the magazine’s March issue.
“And I said, Come on, are you kidding me? We're gonna answer this? Do you not believe me or my doctor? And they said, No, it's been quite cryptic the way that my son's birth has been discussed. And I thought, Okay, more indication of continued problems in the world of journalism."
But Palin said she had adopted a philosophical attitude on the downside of the spotlight. "You have to let it go,” she said. “Even hard news sources, credible news sources — the comment about, you can see Russia from Alaska. You can! You can see Russia from Alaska. Something like that — a factual statement that was taken out of context and mocked — what you have to do is let that go."
The former Republican vice presidential candidate said again she regretted not taking a greater leadership role during the campaign season. "If I were giving advice to myself back on the day my candidacy was announced, I'd say, Tell the campaign that you'll be callin' some of the shots,” she said. “Don't just assume that they know you well enough to make all your decisions for ya. Let them know that you're the CEO of a state, you're forty-four years old, you've got a lot of great life experience that can be put to good use as a candidate."
Despite a season of barbs aimed at the coastal elites, Palin seemed to offer an olive branch to the Big Apple: "I would think we all tear up during the national anthem at the beginning of a baseball game, don't we? That's an alikeness between Alaskans and New Yorkers," she said.
Update: In an Anchorage Daily News column published last week, the paper's editor said the only questions reporters there had asked about Trig's birth came when the paper undertook a project to debunk conspiracy theories surrounding the event, but that they had abandoned the effort because of a lack of cooperation from the Palin family.
"I don't believe we have ever published in the newspaper a story, a letter, a column or anything alleging a coverup surrounding your maternity," wrote the editor in an e-mail sent to Palin and reprinted on the paper's blog. "In fact, my integrity and the integrity of the newspaper have been repeatedly attacked in national forums for our complicity in the 'coverup.'
Later, he added: "...So I don’t understand the behavior of the governor’s press office. Did the governor not share my email with the press staff? Did the press staff deliberately ignore what I said in order to have a longer list of press 'outrages'? Or are they just sloppy with details? I don’t know."

Ms. Palin, Welcome to America. Better people than you have decided not to enter the national political arena because they knew that the media, the internet, bloggers and just about anyone else would peek into their lives and pick on anything that would sell a newspaper or give them an audience. Personally I think that sucks but I'm not in the public eye and guess what, nobody is picking on me. You play you pay. Get over it and move on! Oh, and please do run in 2012. It will make it easier to keep the GOP outta the white house.

I liked the GW in drag. But really Palin is the type of cry baby politician that has become the primary reason i intend to Emmigrate from this country and immigrate (yes two seperate words) to the UK. Palin and the GOP reject challenges to the authority to which they are elected. A fundamental right that was exercised by the founders of the constitution.
Lets face she complained that because Obama was born to a Kenyan in Hawaii he's not a citizen, but McCain was born in Panama, yes the Panama Canal Zone was indeed under US control but it was not the US.
Second, her election was not about real Amercians but mostly about evangelical Americans. Her interest wasn't in portecting the rights of Real America but instituting the type of pseudo theocracy that currently runs the State of Utah.
According to Merriam-Webster, "alikeness" is a word – however clumsy. Spell checkers reject it so it's not common. "Similarity" would have been better.
Palin needs to learn to speak English. . . and then shut up once and for all!
For those who are blogging and asking who the mother of Trig Palin is. I find it noteworthy that Down Syndrome births are more common in older adults. This is where it can most likely be identified that Sarah Palin is 100% the mother of the Down Syndrome child "Trig". If you all do the research of this syndrome or have a relative in the medical field, like I do it is sound proof that it is her child
Sara Palin Moral???? OMG!!!! She is as moral as a $3 Ho!! First she gets pregnant before she is married. Look it up, her first son was born 8 months after she was married. Then she is too busy to raise her children propperly. Her oldest son had HUGE drug problems so they sent him to the millatary, her next daughter is also an unwed mother. With morals like that...Stalin was a saint!!!

I wish Sarah Palin would just disappear. Alskans may have been dumb enough to vote for her but the rest of America isn't going to buy it.
As one of the "bored, pathetic bloggers", I would just like to thank Gov. Palin for the compliment. It is a compliment, when it comes from someone with her minimum level of intelligence. While I would never question anyone's lineage (except maybe my own), I do question her ability to effectively run a lemonade stand, let alone one of the biggest states in the union. And I must say, for someone who probably thinks the media should be overall eliminated, she certainly uses it more often than any other Governor in the USA. Oh, and if Palin does run in 2012, I'm moving to Japan, they always seem to produce intelligent, capable leaders.

The media was indeed diligent and harsh on Sarah Palin . . . but that's one of the negative aspects of a life of public office and servitude. Your every action and word is scrutinized. Honestly, if she can't handle the critcisms and attacks of the media, how on earth can she stand up to the global, culture, environmental, religions and economic conflicts that our nation is facing?
If she thinks the New York Times is tough . . . maybe she should ask Al-Qaeda what they think of her!!!

This woman should never have made it past president of the PTA, yet has found herself tripping upstairs from mayor of a tiny town, to governor of a state with the population of that of a small city, to a VP nominee who cost the Republicans the election.
Her tasks from her jobs as "governor" and parent must be pretty slim, considering she never seems to be doing anything but whining about things that happened months ago. I will never, ever, pull a lever for her, and neither should anyone with a three-digit IQ.
