Palin slams 'bored, anonymous, pathetic bloggers who lie'

The Alaska governor, who has granted a steady stream of interviews since Election Day, also told an Esquire reporter that she wishes she had told McCain campaign advisors she’d be “callin’ some of the shots.”
"Bored, anonymous, pathetic bloggers who lie annoy me....I'll tell you, yesterday the Anchorage Daily News, they called again to ask — double-, triple-, quadruple-check — who is Trig's real mom,” she said, in an interview to be published in the magazine’s March issue.
“And I said, Come on, are you kidding me? We're gonna answer this? Do you not believe me or my doctor? And they said, No, it's been quite cryptic the way that my son's birth has been discussed. And I thought, Okay, more indication of continued problems in the world of journalism."
But Palin said she had adopted a philosophical attitude on the downside of the spotlight. "You have to let it go,” she said. “Even hard news sources, credible news sources — the comment about, you can see Russia from Alaska. You can! You can see Russia from Alaska. Something like that — a factual statement that was taken out of context and mocked — what you have to do is let that go."
The former Republican vice presidential candidate said again she regretted not taking a greater leadership role during the campaign season. "If I were giving advice to myself back on the day my candidacy was announced, I'd say, Tell the campaign that you'll be callin' some of the shots,” she said. “Don't just assume that they know you well enough to make all your decisions for ya. Let them know that you're the CEO of a state, you're forty-four years old, you've got a lot of great life experience that can be put to good use as a candidate."
Despite a season of barbs aimed at the coastal elites, Palin seemed to offer an olive branch to the Big Apple: "I would think we all tear up during the national anthem at the beginning of a baseball game, don't we? That's an alikeness between Alaskans and New Yorkers," she said.
Update: In an Anchorage Daily News column published last week, the paper's editor said the only questions reporters there had asked about Trig's birth came when the paper undertook a project to debunk conspiracy theories surrounding the event, but that they had abandoned the effort because of a lack of cooperation from the Palin family.
"I don't believe we have ever published in the newspaper a story, a letter, a column or anything alleging a coverup surrounding your maternity," wrote the editor in an e-mail sent to Palin and reprinted on the paper's blog. "In fact, my integrity and the integrity of the newspaper have been repeatedly attacked in national forums for our complicity in the 'coverup.'
Later, he added: "...So I don’t understand the behavior of the governor’s press office. Did the governor not share my email with the press staff? Did the press staff deliberately ignore what I said in order to have a longer list of press 'outrages'? Or are they just sloppy with details? I don’t know."

The dispute was not whether you can see Russia from Alaska, but rather, whether such a 'fact' actually makes you qualified in matters concerning foreign affairs and national security. The offices of president and vice-president of the United States, from a foreign policy and diplomacy perspective, require both intellectual and emotional subtly, dexterity – two characteristics of which you consistently continue to demonstrate a frightening and profound lack.

Talk about trying to stay relevant discussing irrelevant issues. Would someone please put a moose head in her mouth, so would be quite? Geez!
How much will she take to move to Russia from Alaska ? I wish she'd just stop that pathetic whining and go away. I've seen and heard enough of her. She never shot a moose, she talked it to death. The mistake the media is making is to go on interviewing her. Stop giving her coverage. She's a nobody and needs to go back to that.
Ok, so you can see Russia from a tiny island way off the coast of Alaska, population 147, that you yourself have never set foot on. While it's an interesting geographical tidbit, foreign policy experience it is not.
And, yes you probably should have called more of the shots if you wanted to be taken seriously. However, that was not your role and not the reason you were selected. You weren't supposed to be independent or have your own opinions. You were supposed to look pretty and read the words on the prompter. In simpler terms, you were used. What you really should have told the campaign from the start is, "Why are you offering this to me? This feels like a stunt. Thanks, but no thanks."
I have a very strong feeling she is Trig's grandmother. I have read the reports and facts and the case is VERY strong.
We may never know though as the hospital that he was born in has totally covered it up.
No, no, no people. We don't want her to go away. The more she talks, the more of these interviews she gives; the less of a chance she will ever have a legitimate shot at entering politics on the National stage again. Let her screw up Alaska, we've already got enough to fix on the national level.
I do feel kind of bad for her about the questions about Trig. Seriously, it's almost as ridiculous as questioning where Obama was born. If she's a good mother what does it matter??
Why doesn't she just supply the proof of Trig's paternity? She snapped out on an interviewer and said "You want my medical records?! You got 'em!" But we never did. Prior to that, I thought it was ridiculous, but now I wonder. In any case, she has been treated no worse by the press than Hillary Clinton, and Caroline Kennedy. She in fact belittled Hillary for being sensitive about it. I am tired of hearing that she was used by th McCain campaign. There are no victims, only volunteers. She was using McCain as much as she was being used. Her ambition is certainly vulgar and borders on evil.

Most of this is nonsensical, but one thing in particular – someone actually thinks that the fair counterpart to Barack Obama releasing his birth certificate is Sarah Palin releasing the medical records of her visits to the obstetrician during pregnancy? Please tell me you are kidding. I am trying to think of something that could warrant the claim that a woman EVER need publicly release medical records from her pregnancy but am at something of a loss.

All Palin had to do was supply a copy of the birth certificate and all could have been rectified months ago. She put her children constantly in the public eye and has no one to blame but herself. TO "T from NY"–you state that the media ask "the most ignorant questions I've ever heard of". Please list those questions to prove your point. If I recall, the question Palin struggled with the most was "What do you read?".
