Palin slams 'bored, anonymous, pathetic bloggers who lie'

The Alaska governor, who has granted a steady stream of interviews since Election Day, also told an Esquire reporter that she wishes she had told McCain campaign advisors she’d be “callin’ some of the shots.”
"Bored, anonymous, pathetic bloggers who lie annoy me....I'll tell you, yesterday the Anchorage Daily News, they called again to ask — double-, triple-, quadruple-check — who is Trig's real mom,” she said, in an interview to be published in the magazine’s March issue.
“And I said, Come on, are you kidding me? We're gonna answer this? Do you not believe me or my doctor? And they said, No, it's been quite cryptic the way that my son's birth has been discussed. And I thought, Okay, more indication of continued problems in the world of journalism."
But Palin said she had adopted a philosophical attitude on the downside of the spotlight. "You have to let it go,” she said. “Even hard news sources, credible news sources — the comment about, you can see Russia from Alaska. You can! You can see Russia from Alaska. Something like that — a factual statement that was taken out of context and mocked — what you have to do is let that go."
The former Republican vice presidential candidate said again she regretted not taking a greater leadership role during the campaign season. "If I were giving advice to myself back on the day my candidacy was announced, I'd say, Tell the campaign that you'll be callin' some of the shots,” she said. “Don't just assume that they know you well enough to make all your decisions for ya. Let them know that you're the CEO of a state, you're forty-four years old, you've got a lot of great life experience that can be put to good use as a candidate."
Despite a season of barbs aimed at the coastal elites, Palin seemed to offer an olive branch to the Big Apple: "I would think we all tear up during the national anthem at the beginning of a baseball game, don't we? That's an alikeness between Alaskans and New Yorkers," she said.
Update: In an Anchorage Daily News column published last week, the paper's editor said the only questions reporters there had asked about Trig's birth came when the paper undertook a project to debunk conspiracy theories surrounding the event, but that they had abandoned the effort because of a lack of cooperation from the Palin family.
"I don't believe we have ever published in the newspaper a story, a letter, a column or anything alleging a coverup surrounding your maternity," wrote the editor in an e-mail sent to Palin and reprinted on the paper's blog. "In fact, my integrity and the integrity of the newspaper have been repeatedly attacked in national forums for our complicity in the 'coverup.'
Later, he added: "...So I don’t understand the behavior of the governor’s press office. Did the governor not share my email with the press staff? Did the press staff deliberately ignore what I said in order to have a longer list of press 'outrages'? Or are they just sloppy with details? I don’t know."

When is CNN going to cut the cord? Gov Palin will go to any length to remain in the news light until 2012.
Sarah Palin will go far in this world, as long as she has someone to blame whenever she does something stupid. She stated that God would decide the election and she would accept whomever the Almighty chose for our next president. I guess she meant that God is an American and a Republican. These "news stories" are the media's way to bait this woman and allow her to look like a fool again. She is the center of some universe, but not mine.
I still have not heard Palin say " well, you know I could have been more prepared to face down some of those questions, ya know." Instead constant whining and complaining. i think she is pathetic!
Aw, come on... This is the absolutely only way she has of keeping herself in the news. She wants to stay in our faces so she can run for President next election. She reminds me of "the thing that wouldn't leave" on Saturday Night Live years ago. She called people names during her campaign for crying out loud! Why do you expect her to stop now? LOL

If Sarah Palin would keep her mouth shut, the world would not know how little she really knows. Unfortunately, she keeps telling the world her unability to grasp the things that matter to Americans and the rest of world for that matter.
It is getting pathetic, and someone should privately tell her that she may have future in politics if she would quit telling the world how little she really knows abou the world.
America "Wake-up" President Bush kept this Country safe. You will under stand this after the next attack. Hope you are not where it happens, like the twin towers.
And on the economy, let the blame fall on the real maker's.

If all of you are whining about CNN continuing to cover Saran Palin, why do you continue to read stories about her? You have the choice not to read anything at all about her. But, obviously, you see her name on the storyline and continue to be drawn to her like moths to the flame.

I don't want her to go away. She draws attention away from truly viable and reasonable-sounding Republican candidates. I want her to be sucking up all the oxygen and hogging the spotlight as a candidate for the next few years because in the end, no one likes a whiner. And, she excels at whining.

O.k., I just have to remind everyone of how stupid she sounded in her debate when she corrected Joe Biden saying, "No, it's drill,baby drill." Ugh! What a moron. And, her obviously pre-scripted and poorly delivered "Say it ain't so, Joe" stunt was downright cringe worthy. I listened the whole debate waiting for her to use that line, and she flubbed it sooooo badly. Dang Sarah, can't you do ANYTHING right?
But, I have to say that she faked that pregnancy marvelously!
I find it astonishing that Sarah Palin will not stop complaining about lies spread about her. It sounds like what I used to hear in Junior High School.
