Palin slams 'bored, anonymous, pathetic bloggers who lie'

The Alaska governor, who has granted a steady stream of interviews since Election Day, also told an Esquire reporter that she wishes she had told McCain campaign advisors she’d be “callin’ some of the shots.”
"Bored, anonymous, pathetic bloggers who lie annoy me....I'll tell you, yesterday the Anchorage Daily News, they called again to ask — double-, triple-, quadruple-check — who is Trig's real mom,” she said, in an interview to be published in the magazine’s March issue.
“And I said, Come on, are you kidding me? We're gonna answer this? Do you not believe me or my doctor? And they said, No, it's been quite cryptic the way that my son's birth has been discussed. And I thought, Okay, more indication of continued problems in the world of journalism."
But Palin said she had adopted a philosophical attitude on the downside of the spotlight. "You have to let it go,” she said. “Even hard news sources, credible news sources — the comment about, you can see Russia from Alaska. You can! You can see Russia from Alaska. Something like that — a factual statement that was taken out of context and mocked — what you have to do is let that go."
The former Republican vice presidential candidate said again she regretted not taking a greater leadership role during the campaign season. "If I were giving advice to myself back on the day my candidacy was announced, I'd say, Tell the campaign that you'll be callin' some of the shots,” she said. “Don't just assume that they know you well enough to make all your decisions for ya. Let them know that you're the CEO of a state, you're forty-four years old, you've got a lot of great life experience that can be put to good use as a candidate."
Despite a season of barbs aimed at the coastal elites, Palin seemed to offer an olive branch to the Big Apple: "I would think we all tear up during the national anthem at the beginning of a baseball game, don't we? That's an alikeness between Alaskans and New Yorkers," she said.
Update: In an Anchorage Daily News column published last week, the paper's editor said the only questions reporters there had asked about Trig's birth came when the paper undertook a project to debunk conspiracy theories surrounding the event, but that they had abandoned the effort because of a lack of cooperation from the Palin family.
"I don't believe we have ever published in the newspaper a story, a letter, a column or anything alleging a coverup surrounding your maternity," wrote the editor in an e-mail sent to Palin and reprinted on the paper's blog. "In fact, my integrity and the integrity of the newspaper have been repeatedly attacked in national forums for our complicity in the 'coverup.'
Later, he added: "...So I don’t understand the behavior of the governor’s press office. Did the governor not share my email with the press staff? Did the press staff deliberately ignore what I said in order to have a longer list of press 'outrages'? Or are they just sloppy with details? I don’t know."

for all you people who think palin would do a great job please answer the following. how would she function every day reading things about her she did not like. she would have a press conference every day to try to defend herself. she is not mature enough to be in the big time spotlight. she is where she belongs in a place where she can go after people who disagree with her and try to disrupt thier lives. she will never be a solid candidate . those are the facts

Many of the people who voted for Sarah Palin were attracted to her for her looks.
She will be nearly 48 when the next election comes around, and she will look older and not as "hot" as her followers would want.
I think that alone will keep her out of the race.
Where are her medical records??? She promised to release them, but then....time was too short until Election Day, so she just didn't do it.
If she truly is Trig's mother, you'd think she'd move heaven and earth to present concrete evidence to prove it. Instead, it's the same old Sarah Soft Shoe Routine...skip, dance, jig, dip, etc. Sarah Palin Master Illusionist!
This woman is quite pathetic. And I've been racking my brains as to why I destest her so. Because my pondering has been influenced by the image in my brain of her standing with her nasty leg on a moose that she had just shot, it's neck all torn and bleeding, with a smile on her face and ever since then I have loathed her. She is everything I destest most in a person, male or female. Add to that the image of a turkey losing its life while she is talking and I'm sickened by her and the image.
This morning the reason that I dislike her the most popped into my head. This woman HAS NOT PAID HER DUES. With most things of value, human beings have to pay their dues. Great positions require it. And when you pay your dues there is a certain humility that is developed which is lacking in Sarah Palin. She has come onto the public arena, national politics with an arrogance and a thick-skinned manner – a kind of pushing herself onto us that is quite disturbing. That's why she's called a "whack job" by less sensitive, thinking people.
She has not paid her dues, and I don't think she would ever understand even what that means.

Oh boo hoo. Blogger fueled followers have called the Director of Health in Hawaii nonstop about Obama's birth certificate (which they have 100% confidence in; and you don't see Obama whining about it.
Her thoughts are immaterial and have no significants what so ever. As a life long Republican it bothers me that she was the best the party could do, so Sarah, just go away and stay away and come to realize that you have had your time in the light and it is over.
Does anyone find it peculiar that this woman holds a degree in JOURNALISM, yet she can barely form a coherent, intelligent sentence? She couldn't even cite one major newspaper she reads.

There are no "do overs" in this life, Gov. Palin. You lost because the American voters overhelmingly voted in favor of intelligent, well educated, prepared, and honest (not to mention rational) leadership instead of you and Senator McCain.
