  2. Listen to you all babbl

Some of you keep saying this is a great day...

The day you question your government and your government becomes scared of the American people is a great day.

Always remember government is not here to help... and you should know that.

We need more public officials like Sen. Clinton; she is smart, calm, exudes respect abroad and amongst her collegues in the senate; may God Bless you on this new journey. Pres. Obama is setting the tone of change and this is change; because it is putting a person with the right experience out in front to the American's chief diplomat to get us to regain our footing in the world stage. President Obama may God Bless you and help you during your term. We all are Americans and as such we should stand behind our leaders and hold them accountable to us and to the nation they serve. I am proud of these (2) fine public servants and I can't wait to see some good results from both.

    Rise America Rise!

Quite a few powerhouses leaving the Senate (while scum like Burris manage to worm their way in).

I can only hope their respective governor's appoint senator's qualified and capable of filling such large shoes.

Hillary Clinton should have been our next President instead of Obama and we will soon see why!

Hillary Clinton, Secretary of State will become one of this country's best.

Ms. Magazine should have put Hillary on the cover as the face of feminism, NOT Obama. It's an insult to ALL women and men who consider themselves supporters of women, feminists. Obama has a very thin record on women's issues. Very thin. Obama demonstrated he's a sexist during the 2008 campaign debacle.

Hillary 2012! Brilliant woman! Also, Caroline Kennedy is NOT qualified to replace Hillary in the Senate. Carolyn Maloney or Kristin Gillibrand should get the appointment. They have EARNED it.

It amazes me that anyone can hate the Clintons...especially Hillary. She has done a great deal for this country, so those of you who say otherwise are not informed (gosh, even my mother!).

This country experienced it's best times under Bill.

Nominating Hillary Clinton is the smarted move Barrack could have ever made! Hillary is a very intelligent woman and the Clinton name still means a lot with our foreign allies. If anyone can mend the broken fences the Bush has created overseas, it's Hillary.

  16. Still and Always Will Be for Hill

Madame Secretary, I wish you the best of luck. I was a STRONG supporter of yours in the primary, and I am still a little heartbroken over it. I admire your strength, your tenacity, your public service, and most of all-your pantsuits! I do not feel anyone would be better as Secretary of State, and I look forward to seeing you as the face of America when meeting with world leaders. I will always support you in your endeavors. We as a nation are lucky to have you. Please know that you are very much appreciated and loved. Pay no mind to the haters, just keep doing what you do. To many women and men ( especially women) you will always have our support, love, and good wishes.

Stop playing the gender card. I am a woman who has never and will never support Hillary. She is not qualified for the position. I was hoping for Richardson or Kerry.

Do you Clinton bashers on here know how juvenile & jealous & insecure you sound?? Especially you men who badmouth Hillary Clinton, you sound like you just can't stand the thought of a tough, smart, successful woman. Makes me wonder how you feel about the other women in your lives. But that even goes to some degree for the women who bash her. Does it bother you to see a woman succeed? Do you have this mentality that it's the "little woman's job" to stay home & just clean house & cook? Get over it people!!!! This is a highly educated woman with a work ethic that won't quit. She will be an exceptionally good Secretary of State because she understands the importance & the workings of the position. Give her a chance for Pete sake!!!!

Congratulations Hilary. I do believe that Obama knew what he was doin when he picked you. I was looking at a comment. Obama didnt win because of Hilary. Obama won because people saw through all the lies. Give Obama credit man. Hil you did a fab job! Lets change this world and stop the hatred and bitterness people. It is what it is.

    Obama/Biden/Clinton 2009 and beyond!

    Larry in Houston, TX,

Please...............It is futile for you and others to attribute PE Obama's win to SOSTB Clinton. He is God's man for this time in history, and the only person he 'really' needed was God on his side. You, like many others, said he wouldn't win unless he put her on the ticket – How did that turn out? She is a fine woman. She is tough, driven and capable of doing the job. But his success was not, and never will be contingent on someone else's favor. As long as he continues to use sound judgment and wisdom, and remains true to his convictions, he will always succeed.
