Beating back the chill

You people are crazy! I will be so glad when this is over with and he can start earning his paycheck. I pray he is a good leader but I don't put all my trust in him. Remember, It takes an army of people to run this country, not just him. I pray he has some good advisors and I pray he will not be a "yes" man to everyone's little whims like Clinton was.

Please note the millions of American citizens that have braved 20 degree weather from 3 A.M. 'til noon. You would be wise to TIVO these scenes, then when you feel like being an obstructionist, review the TIVO scenes.
Then you can decide if you want to get on board or be run over, but you will NOT be able to stop the people of America.

I think Steele Curtain is forgetting that we've been in a depression for the past six years.
Am I the only one who is wondering......Don't These People Have J-O-B-S? Kids to feed? Mortgages to pay? Insurance to buy? Oh that's right they can skip work, they don't have to look for a job or do any of those responsible things. Thats why we have government bail outs! I mean come on! I understand that this is an historical event. Jobs are scarce. Times are hard. You couldn't tell it by that crowd. D.C is not cheap and I am sure the prices have gone up this week!
to okie: let's hope he can undo the last eight years of conniving and back room deals with the oil companies and arms manufacturers! let's hope that our standing in the world improves in the next four years! that's what you wanted to say, right?
