No major security issues so far, say officials

[cnn-photo-caption image= http://i2.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2009/images/01/20/art.security1.gi.jpg caption="So far, there have been no major security issues, say officials."]WASHINGTON (CNN) - Security officials say there have been no major problems surrounding the inauguration so far.

There have been some communcations issues, they say - but the crowd has been orderly, and so far there have been no reports of any major incidents or concerns. While some security screening lines seem to be slow, they say there have not been any major systematic issues.

Of course...this whole thing is overhyped. DC will be trashed by the Obamabots.

There are international terrorists that want to harm America just because of who she is.

There are domestic terrorists that want to harm Obama (and therefore America) just because of who he is ... a black President of the United States. Racist KKK, skinheads, white supremacists are all terrorists ... just like Tim McVeigh or al Queda.

The secret service has a doubly tough job because they will have to protect Obama from both. Fortunately, the white supremacists are mostly cowards with no heart that hide behind white hooded bedsheets.

Anybody at CNN want to tell me why at 8:23am, Central Standard Time, I watch a reporter laughing with three people in the inauguration crowd about how they "got around security" by simply walking around the White House and into the mall?

That IS the story, folks. Once again, CNN buries the lead. It's NOT FUNNY that three people walked into that mall untouched by the security. And it's appauling that you presented it as a silly little anecdote.
