(CNN) - Sen. Ted Kennedy's seizure Tuesday was brought on by "simple fatigue," Dr. Edward Aulisi of the Washington Hospital Center said in a statement.
“Senator Edward Kennedy experienced a seizure today while attending a luncheon for President Barack Obama in the U.S. Capitol," Aulisi siad. "After testing, we believe the incident was brought on by simple fatigue. Senator Kennedy is awake, talking with family and friends, and feeling well. He will remain at the Washington Hospital Center overnight for observation, and will be released in the morning."
Please take it easy Sen. Kennedy. Our nation needs you.
Our prayers are with you, Senator, from every side of the spectrum.
We are one nation, you have done much for us, may you continue to do more.
Today would have been a good day to die.
I wish him well – maybe how he'll keep at home where he belongs!
When I heard this news, I almost drove off a bridge!!
Well, Bubba, maybe you can show us how.

Please take care of yourself, Senator Kennedy. We still need you!
God Bless and keep you safe. Bubba I would hope that should this be your family member someone would tell you something similar. Shame on you
Was really worried about him, glad to see him doing better.. will stay in my thoughts and prayers.
some very nasty comments...you really should be sooooooo ashamed of yourselves!!!!!!!
I lived in the US for 12 years and thankfully did not meet any of you nasty people!!!!!!
Disgusted
The first sign of him being sick was that he was face down in his martini
Just drive off a bridge and drown allready. More than you deserve after what you did to that poor woman those many years ago.
Out thoughts and prayers are with Ted Kennedy and his family. Please rest and get well soon. I know being present and witnessing Obama's Inauguration today was one of your greatest joys. God Bless.
Hi Renee!
Please do not think that the disgusting comments about Sen. Kennedy come from the majority of Americans.
Sen. Kennedy and his family have served our country over lifetimes. He deserves our respect, but sadly America is filled with haters, too.
You will see that the haters hate everyone! So never take them seriously or personally. That is how they spread their hatred.
I am happy that you have never met any of them personally.
However, if you have or did you would have forgotten them anyway. There are much more important tasks ahead of us.
Happy Obama Day!!!!
@ Scott: Get a life, and a soul.
Scott, I thought you drown. Now I'm disappointed your still here.
Even as a political opponent of Sen. Kennedy, I must salute and acknowledge his toughness....Godspeed Sen. Kennedy.
As for the haters, I think we should go beyond condemning them...
It is time for a slap in the mouth for some
