[cnn-photo-caption image= http://i2.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2009/images/01/21/art.ovaloffice.cnn.jpg caption="What’s missing in this picture?"] (CNN) - It's the same Oval Office. The same desk. Even the same curtains. But President Obama has already made one major change: Go through eight years of White House photos, and you won't find one of former President Bush in the Oval Office without his jacket on.
It wasn't just a personal preference. In the Bush administration, it was a rule: Jackets in the Oval Office - and now, it seems, one of the first Bush-era regulations to get scrapped in the Obama White House.
- CNN's John King contributed to this report
No coat for Obama – not pants for Clinton. Gotta love those demoncrats!
No surpise here. Like the Clintons, Obama has no respect for the office. Or its traditions. I just hope the country survives the next 4 years.
way to go mr. president. we care more for the work not for what you are wearing. this is the way it should be. we are all equal.
You people are acting like giddy little children that have just seen Santa Claus at the mall. Obama is a man, and yet to prove anything except that he knows how to get elected.
CNN, what? You don't like my comment I posted earlier?

Yeah, big deal CNN and worthy of news too!
CNN – you've become a pathetic and lousy news channel!
I would prefer honesty and hard work in shirt sleeves to the false appearance of propriety and THREE out of EIGHT years in office spent on VACATION (!).
I expect a full computer workstation is next ...
GOD BLESS THE NEW ADMINISTRATION!

Who cares if President Obama wears his jacket while at work? I don't. Let the man take care of the country's business.
wow what a rule change is this all we can expect from Bubba
@me 3:04 pm that would be the rumor (rumour if your are British or Canadian) but never "roomer". I love it, you are probably one of these dumb liberals who though you were smarter than Bush.
how can you roll up your sleeves and do work wearing a fancy jacket?
I hope Obama breaks Bushes other rule..."the oval office is a bad news free zone"
Did you happen to notice that he hasn't taken time to put up pictures of his family yet? Jacket or no jacket, this guy is here to work!
Sooooooooooooooo, Is this really news that concerns us?
Photo caption reads;
What’s missing in this picture?
Answer: Bush, yayyyyyy!
Nice to see someone actually more interested in getting to work rather than photo ops and high profile meetings that get nothing done. Thank you Mr. President.
Did Bush really spend any time in the Oval Office? Did he ever have a job?
this is the Change we can beleive in? WOW
President Obama is giving the oval-office the values for its excistance.
I always was under the imagination that when I went to office it was to get work done.
He looks good in the office without his jacket and I'm sure that it will be also the same if he has it on, because this person shines whenever he wears or is without his jachet, he has charisma.
I think some of you critics are taking this A LITTLE TOO SERIOUSLY. Let the President feel comfortable while he works. He's working, for goodness sake. Are you ALWAYS going to wear a jacket while you're hard at work? I mean, its not like he's GOING TO WEAR FLIP FLOPS AND SHORTS. A man of this calibur has the right to roll up his sleeves while he's working instead of having his jacket all the time and "seem" like he's working (e.g. Bush).
Thats right OBIE! Take off the suit and roll up your sleeves because theirs a huge Republican mess that has to cleaned up! God Bless You!!!
MAYBE SOMEONE SHOULD TELL HIM HE IS THE POTUS AND HE IS IN THE OVAL OFFFICE NOT THE BASKETBALL COURT.....WHAT'S NEXT...MAYBE HE CAN TELL THE QUEEN WHEN HE MEETS HER THAT SHE HAS NICE BLING..........
People get a life! The next thing you will be telling us is how many times a day he uses the bathroom
You people are acting like giddy little children that have just seen Santa Claus at the mall. Obama is a man, and yet to prove anything except that he knows how to get elected.
Sir: YOU have not been looking then!!
Was there nothing else more important to report about?
This is hardly a newsworthy item. Now, if he was wearing a kilt....
Just goes to show how out dated Bush was in his thinking. I suppose his wife had to always wear a dress too if she entered the Oval office. Hello, it's 2009, not the 1950's..
