Good, he can relate to all the Americans have tax problems and don't know why we are paying them. Hopefully, he can make some good changes because he has been there. Everyone send in your suggestions if you have one versus you criticism. Look at the positive not the negative. Everybody has done something they are ashamed of even the reporters reporting the stories and the pundits who are analyzing everything but have not given any suggestions to get this country back on track. Here is my suggestions, stop playing the negative sound bits the American people are catching on to how the media does things to increase their ratings.

How great is that? A tax cheat heading up the IRS, can't wait to use the " I forgot" excuse. If it works for him it should work for the rest of us.

You all voted for the obama because you "hoped" he would give you the "change" he promiced. So, you got a lying tax cheat in charge of the treasury and overseeing the IRS.

To all the Republicans complaining about Geithner, what about Henry Paulson? Do you just pretend he doesn't exist?

Congratulations U.S. Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner. It is now your ship. Sorry we don't have much time to celebrate. Don't feel pressured, but the U.S. and nations around the world depend on you. Now please get to work.

hey who says crime doesn't pay. Apparently you can lie and cheat on your taxes and be part of the new administration. This must be the change we were hearing about. Let's see so far we have a lobbyist from Ratheon for Defense and a tax cheat for the IRS, good job, this is certainly different from the last corrupt administration, really!

Tax year 2008,2009,2010,2011 – Just like Tim Geither – paying his 2001, 2002, 2003 & 2004 taxes before his confirmation – are we now allowed to pay the taxes for these 4 years in 2015? It would really be a great help to stimulate the US economy. More $$$ in our pockets to spend.

Tim Geithner's first order of business should be to send a picture to Tsar Nicholas II to the old and new heads of Citigroup. It would serve as a historical reminder to them of what their "mode" of where their modes of business may lead.

OBAMA AND THE DEMOCRATS WON. THE PEOPLE VOTED OBAMA-BIDEN AND THE DEMOCRATS TO LEAD. So Obama needs to stop trying to please the Republicans. The Republicans are not sincere in their negotiations of national economic stimulus package. The Republicans are getting a "2-for-1" from Obama and the Democrats. [#1.] – The Republicans are trying to negotiate using the same failed policies of the past, and if they get their way, Rush Limbaugh and the extreme Right will be pleased. [#2.] – But if the stimulus package still fails with Republican failed policies attached, than the Republicans will still blame Obama and he will take the fall.
