Geithner sworn in as Treasury Secretary

WASHINGTON (CNN) - Vice President Joe Biden swore in Timothy Geithner as the nation's next Treasury Secretary as President Obama looked on Monday evening.

This was not a great choice for Obama, but for the sake of all of us I hope it works. It did bother me when I heard that he had trouble understanding how to do his taxes. Hmm.
I am not surprised. A TAX CHEATER MANAGING THE TAXPAYERS MONEY !,....does this makes sense to anybody?,......ONLY IN AMERICA ! (well,... CORRUPTED AMERICA ! )
Another crook in the phony MORE OF THE SAME-ALMOST-CLINTON -CLONE-CABINET.
After all, it is known by everyone that Obama is product from the CHICAGO-CORRUPTED POLITICAL ATMOSPHERE,...so it is logical to expect that – SINCE CORRUPTION IS ALL OVER THE PLACE – the integrant of his group will be likewise in that vector.

this govt. has gone too far on both sides but if americans do not start holding these bafoons accountable our rights will be pulled right out from under us..... the time is nearing for the true patriots to emerge and take this country back and make being a representative what it used to be where these men and women will serve there communities and not themselves.....
One more example of the type of advice that Obama wants to surround himself with in the White House. Part of the honesty and truth.
Why is this a GOP or a DEM issue. The guy screwed up and forgot to pay over $30k in taxes. He doesn't need to be running anything in the govt. If this was a Bush appointee would you be applying the same measure. I don't think so.
I forgot, 70% of those who voted for Obama don't pay taxes anyway so you can't relate.
here is a real diddy for all: CITIGROUP just bought a nice 50 million dollar private corporate jet.... and the kicker it is not american made.... i will be heading right down to my bank at citigroup and will withdraw all of my accounts with these idiots.... i thought that the car companies had a huge sack these guys take the cake.... hopefully a lot of americans will look at it like myself and slap these winners like we were just slapped... time to take a stand with these idiots and the rest who make decisions like this.... RUN... RUN.... RUN... see what the rest of banks will do

If this guy didn't have friends in high places, he would be in prison.

Obama has managed to reinstate a few executive orders from the Clinton era, and has otherwise bumbled his first 10 days. I can't wait to see what (if anything!) happens in the next 90.
The appointment and confirmation of this crook speaks volumes about Mr. Obama and the sorry state of this country.
