Limbaugh: Obama is 'frightened of me'

(CNN) - Radio host Rush Limbaugh said Monday that President Obama is “frightened of me.”
“He’s obviously more frightened of me than he is [Senate Minority Leader] Mitch McConnell,” Limbaugh told listeners. “He’s more frightened of me, then he is of say, [House Minority Leader] John Boehner, which doesn’t say much about our party.”
Limbaugh’s comments followed reports Obama warned GOP congressional leaders last week that they should stop listening to the conservative talker, who had said on air he wanted the new president to fail.
"Now this is the great unifier," he told listeners Monday. "This is the man who's going to unify everybody and usher in a new era of bipartisanship and love."
White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs gave reporters the administration's latest message to Limbaugh at Monday's press briefing: "Tell him I said, 'Hi,'" he joked.

Limbaugh told his sheep that he had "carried water for people who didn't deserve it" and they never figured out that that reflected on Limbaugh's truthfulness and their gullibility.

I'll have to find Limbaugh's exact words on the ideas that he wants the new president to fail and that Obama is afraid of him before I judge on those. From what some people who apparently listened have posted, Limbaugh just wants the policies he doesn't agree with to fail. If this is the case, everyone here getting mad shares the exact same opinion: you want policies you don't like to fail. In any case, whatever he meant, there isn't any need to insult him and wish terrible things onto him. All that does is make you look two or three times as immature and hate-filled as you claim he is, and that discredits you.
No need to post all the hate, people. You can disagree with someone and think they went too far without the hate.

The dreaded sociallist word. Why isn't it socialist to take so much money from Americans and give it to the military to spend? Why isn't some of that money going to the military being spent to deal with the war on you own country, the gangs that have taken over, for example, areas in and around L.A.? Is it socialist to take money to spend on public schools (not enough)? How about ensuring roadways are improved, infrastructure? Why is it so negative to have a medical system where citizens can be cared for, a system they can use and afford? Millitary spending is okay but spending on the health of one's people isn't? The whole capitalist system is obviously not working when selfish individuals care more for themselves than the good of anyone else – which is rather what Limbaugh is doing – trying to garner yet more attention by trying to undermine Obama. Perhaps labels such as socialism shouldn't be used at all and just good policies implemented that are for the good of society. How sad that such a promising country has been taken down by self absorbed individuals and where the appearance of having money was thought to be the height of success. The whole reverence thing ref. movie stars and famous people is another thing – Good God! If most people were paid a million dollars they could act. At the same time as the Oscars are being held there should be a split screen where those such as doctors who volunteer to help others or anyone doing such good works are named and a number listed for donations – acknowlegement for those who don't garner the attention movie stars do, but should. They should also receive more attention than someone such as Limbaugh.

Where is freedom of speech, Mr. Obama? Why bother if Limbaugh talks, unless, there are something truth to what the man is saying. This is America land of the free not of communism and dictatorship. Let everyone speak and express opinion.
Something is wrong with this man. Everything he has says is not only scary, but it's sickening. It's scary/sickening because of his reported following who blindly follow him – and those like him.
One of the 4 "loud, not ever letting their guests speak, only one side, nobody else's side is ever reported" reasons I don't watch F*x is because they keep conversing with him as if he's a reliable source, with credibility. Yet, we hear he takes suspicious trips outside the USA, to suspicious seedy juvelent locations. Oh, and he also not only did drugs, but wasn't he getting them illegally? Yet, he's still in the public eye, and he's free to roll about like Mr hot biscuit (didn't he get caught multiple times? wow, in my neighborhood you end up in jail for that).
I didn't vote for Bush, but I sure as heck didn't pray that he failed. what kind of person would want the leader of your country to fail? If your leaders fail, how do you benefit? How does your family, neighbors, friends, etc benefit from that failure???
