Limbaugh: Obama is 'frightened of me'

(CNN) - Radio host Rush Limbaugh said Monday that President Obama is “frightened of me.”
“He’s obviously more frightened of me than he is [Senate Minority Leader] Mitch McConnell,” Limbaugh told listeners. “He’s more frightened of me, then he is of say, [House Minority Leader] John Boehner, which doesn’t say much about our party.”
Limbaugh’s comments followed reports Obama warned GOP congressional leaders last week that they should stop listening to the conservative talker, who had said on air he wanted the new president to fail.
"Now this is the great unifier," he told listeners Monday. "This is the man who's going to unify everybody and usher in a new era of bipartisanship and love."
White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs gave reporters the administration's latest message to Limbaugh at Monday's press briefing: "Tell him I said, 'Hi,'" he joked.

Somebody needs to put a gag on Rush. He's been spewing hate since Clinton was elected and the stupid party-line GOPers buy it. Since you can't fix stupid, somebody needs to shut this guy up!

President Obama invites Limbaugh to the White House, and gives him the public dressing-down of his life. (Think Martin Sheen in "Midterms" episode of "The West Wing.")
I find it almost sad that Mr. Limbaugh is so obviously out of touch with the citizenry of this nation. He is, in reality, little more than a political comedian with a niche audience. He holds little influence over independents nor really anyone honestly looking for knowledge and information. For this reason, its hard to really be upset by his comments, but they are still so very misguided.

Dear Mr. Limbaugh,
The average person dreads being alone in your presence, and being in your presence at all for that matter, contrary to the your deluded pompous, and juvenile belief that you have the ability to cause people fear, it is not because they are afraid of you, it's because they don't like you. You are an obnoxious, obscene, and arrogant individual, without the least regard for your fellow Americans, and much less your country. Bipartisanship is not equivocal to wasting time with people are not willing to put pettiness aside and act on the behalf of their country, in fact it is the exact opposite. Someone who wishes for their commander in chiefs failure, and, as such, the failure of their country, is not only unpatriotic, they are a disgrace to the United States of America.

Unfortunately the Limbaugh crowd and the ultra-religious right have taken over the Republican party. It’s time to take it back. CNN needs to not try to make news where there isn't any. I blame CNN. Is this a ratings issue? I don't see any ads on this page... Are eyeballs that important and why? What is the point? "We remain a young nation, but in the words of Scripture, the time has come to set aside childish things."

I sometimes listen to his radio to laugh. For me he is a totally ignorant who belongs to the old generation of thinkers who has no place in this century. Its fun to listen and realize that there are those who ignorant like him. There may be many listeners for him. But American will evolve and reject that type of comments. I do not see any reason why Obama has to even be concerned about him.

Well, Rush's gotta do something to keep himself relevant. The crazier the things he says, the more attention he gets, and no matter what he's saying that's always a win for him.
The only thing worse than Limbaugh's (insincere) claim that he frightens President Obama is the news judgement of the responsible person or persons at CNN who published this story to a national audience. CNN readers expect more (and deserve more) from news professionals than they do from Limbaugh. Shame on you.
