Limbaugh: Obama is 'frightened of me'

[cnn-photo-caption image= http://i2.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2009/images/01/26/art.rush0126.gi.jpg caption=" Conservative radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh responded Monday to recent reported comments by President Obama."]
(CNN) - Radio host Rush Limbaugh said Monday that President Obama is “frightened of me.”

“He’s obviously more frightened of me than he is [Senate Minority Leader] Mitch McConnell,” Limbaugh told listeners. “He’s more frightened of me, then he is of say, [House Minority Leader] John Boehner, which doesn’t say much about our party.”

Limbaugh’s comments followed reports Obama warned GOP congressional leaders last week that they should stop listening to the conservative talker, who had said on air he wanted the new president to fail.

"Now this is the great unifier," he told listeners Monday. "This is the man who's going to unify everybody and usher in a new era of bipartisanship and love."

White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs gave reporters the administration's latest message to Limbaugh at Monday's press briefing: "Tell him I said, 'Hi,'" he joked.

Can't someone make this guy go away- How about if you in the media stop pandering to what he wants and refuse to give him all this publicity?

With a huge economic crisis and over 70,000 jobs lost on Monday alone, Obama has much more pressing stuff to worry about than Limbaugh. Rush should get over himself.

Yes, we want the president to fail, because millions unemployed, and skyrocketing costs from everything to food to housing is perfect for an "I told you so" moment?

If this were a left talking about a right, people would be irate.

I guess even the jester has to say something to have pennies thrown at him so he can eat (and eat and eat).

I pity Limbaugh, I sincerely do.

So, he hopes Obama fails? Is he that ignorant or hyped on drugs that he doesn't realize, in essence, that he is hoping that America will fail? You could make the argument that that is treason. The republicans should step to the plate and tell him to shut his trap.

the residue of oxy contin must make one delusional.

at least limbaugh and hannity make it easy for the secret service to find the wackos, so there is a logic to keeping him talking.

because of windbags like rush, nobody will ever unite these two idiot parties. sad part rush who gives a crap about your party or obamas. the elected officials are suppose to be working for us, not their stupid party, which is all they care about. the politics in this country need an enima, and it should start with dirtbags like limbaugh, who wouldnt know the truth if it slapped him in the face. the only thing scared of him would be any object he was about to sit on. he has lied about his drug addication and everything else. anyone who believes this scum is as sorry as he is.

    "Radio Host" Rush Limbaugh?

I thought it was "Convicted Junkie" Rush Limbaugh?

Or maybe "Viagra Enthusiast" Rush Limp-baugh?

Obama and the media don't want you to "bend over" for them Rush, that's just you, wanting someone to bend you over.

According to Rush 6 months ago, anyone saying anything bad about the president was "treasonous".

But Rush is a patriot for wishing that Obama's presidency fails.

"Our Party", is the Limpbaugh show in violation of campaign finance laws since it appears to be an integrated branch of the Republican party?

Please, enough of this blowhard doofus. He and his neocon pals had the reins and have completely trashed the country. Rush had been spewing his venom for far too long to be taken seriously...

The fact that someone hopes Obama will fail pretty much describes
what type of person this Rush fella is. I wish nothing but the best for this country, Obama, and his administration. The love for our country should supersede any posturing or taking sides. It's too bad there are people so jaded that they in fact wish ill upon their own country, which in essence is what the outcome of such a wish would probably be. Very sad indeed. I voted for Obama, but even if any other person won the presidency, I would not wish them to fail because I love this country. The words from this Rush fella are pretty sad. I do feel sorry for him and I will keep in my thoughts to get well......

Thanks for allowing me to share.

    Hey Rush,
Before you RUSH back over to the buffet table, answer this.
I'll wait until you swalow that peice of "crap" you're eating.
Okay, ready. Okay Rush, let me ask you this. What would you be doing, if you didn't have this radio program?
    I thought so.

The president isn't afraid of Limbaugh, he just point out how irrelevant Limbaugh has become. I think he was always irrelevant, but there are Republicans who still remain mezmerized by the old man. Only Limbaugh really believes anything he says, in fact I don't think he believes himself, but he want to give one last dying breath to the politics of division.

It's dead Rush, it's dead. Find a new life.

Wow. A little full of ourselves, aren't we?
He didn't say he was afraid of you, you pompous jerk.

He implied that if the Republicans want to save this country, they need to stop listening to nut-jobs like yourself who have systematically caused the ruin of our financial and eco-systems.

Yet again, Rush shows that he speaks without thinking.

Oh, he's frightened, alright...frightened that Rush will EAT him.

But seriously, I'm frightened that people actually listen to this hackneyed bag of right-wing air.
Perhaps he and Ann Coulter could get together, the mirror-image version of Jack Sprat and wife, and produce some very ugly and spiteful children.

Limbaugh is nothing more than an third rate entertainer who presses political hot buttons. He is desperately trying to keep relevant in a country which flatly rejected his views in the last election. His statement that, he hopes President Obama fails, demonstrates that Limbaugh is something less than patriotic and more concerned about listener ratings. His last statement that the president is frightened of him is laughble. In the end, when it comes to matters of policy, Limbaugh turns up absolutley bankrupt. Like Sarah Palin, he can fire up the consevative base with propaganda and rhetoric, but at the end of day he does not articlulate well thought out policies to address the nations problems. He just does not add anything intelligent to the dialogue. But that sure does not stop him from blaberring.

Isn't saying "I hope he fails" in reference to our President exactly the kind of un-America rhetoric that Mr. Oxycontin was whining about before the election??
