Limbaugh: Obama is 'frightened of me'

[cnn-photo-caption image= http://i2.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2009/images/01/26/art.rush0126.gi.jpg caption=" Conservative radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh responded Monday to recent reported comments by President Obama."]
(CNN) - Radio host Rush Limbaugh said Monday that President Obama is “frightened of me.”

“He’s obviously more frightened of me than he is [Senate Minority Leader] Mitch McConnell,” Limbaugh told listeners. “He’s more frightened of me, then he is of say, [House Minority Leader] John Boehner, which doesn’t say much about our party.”

Limbaugh’s comments followed reports Obama warned GOP congressional leaders last week that they should stop listening to the conservative talker, who had said on air he wanted the new president to fail.

"Now this is the great unifier," he told listeners Monday. "This is the man who's going to unify everybody and usher in a new era of bipartisanship and love."

White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs gave reporters the administration's latest message to Limbaugh at Monday's press briefing: "Tell him I said, 'Hi,'" he joked.

mr limbaugh you are a disgrace as an american. your comments not only smack of racism but of pure unadultrated hatred for people who do not think in lock step with you. Hopefully as the months go by and you see progress in the democratic american way of doing things, you will be less hateful. Wishing you well........

You have to wonder just who in this country listens to this person (Limbaugh), and whether they can still consider themselves to be patriotic. He has crossed a line when he hopes for a President to fail. And he's walking around in a dream state if he thinks President Obama is in fear or him. Our new President has far bigger issues to worry about. It would be great, for a change, to see Limbaugh's loyal listeners to be the ones going to him and telling him to act like a true patriot, instead of someone cravenly seeking attention.

Yes, he's afraid of you. He fears that, in an Oxycontin haze, you'll think he's made of chocolate and try to eat him.

Rush – the reason Obama doesn't think it's a good idea for the GOP senators to listen to you is because you are opposed to working together as a country and that's what needs to be done in order to accomplish anything. You are more of a danger to our country than anyone I can think of.

    Divided we WILL fall...

I hope people are finally starting to realize that this creep cares more about his ideology than about our country or the well being of its citizens.

We need a change in the law so that liberal talk shows have the same air wave access as do the Limbaugh types. This man is disgusting and a disgrace to the nation. What a waco!

Rush will say anything to stay in the public eye, otherwise his shows will disappear along with any interest in him. I pity those that take his comments seriously.

Rush Limbaugh, you're an idiot. Go away, leave Obama alone. He doesn't want the GOP congressional leaders to listen to you because it's a waste of their time. Not because he's afraid of you. What an ego you must have.

I believe that Rush said he wanted the president to fail IF he proposes SOCIALIST policies. There is a BIG difference. Report the FACTS CNN.

Rush Limbaugh is the reason the GOP lost the election. His failed attempt at seeding chaos in the electoral process clearly shows this guy is about as American as Osama Bin Laden is from Kansas. This guy is a disgrace to intelligence and common sense. A buffoon, an egomaniac, a horrible excuse for a human being. But I am sure sooner or later he will cross the line and the Secret Service will be knocking at his door.

This guy Limbaugh is an unbelievable egomaniac whose only interest is selfpromtion and money. How he can have a following is the mystery that one needs to solve. My recommendation has always been to simply ignore him. Too bad that Obama did not just do that!.The less a guy like Limbaugh get noticed the better!

Limbaugh IS scary...just like Palin was scary. If the world was ruled by pathetic hate-mongers like those two....it would be a very scary place... His reality is so unrealistic...

This man is a disgrace. He sounds like a petty bully on the school yard. Anyone who supports his rhetoric of lies and hatred needs to take a good look at themselves. If you all stopped listening to him...he'd fade away...
