Limbaugh: Obama is 'frightened of me'

(CNN) - Radio host Rush Limbaugh said Monday that President Obama is “frightened of me.”
“He’s obviously more frightened of me than he is [Senate Minority Leader] Mitch McConnell,” Limbaugh told listeners. “He’s more frightened of me, then he is of say, [House Minority Leader] John Boehner, which doesn’t say much about our party.”
Limbaugh’s comments followed reports Obama warned GOP congressional leaders last week that they should stop listening to the conservative talker, who had said on air he wanted the new president to fail.
"Now this is the great unifier," he told listeners Monday. "This is the man who's going to unify everybody and usher in a new era of bipartisanship and love."
White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs gave reporters the administration's latest message to Limbaugh at Monday's press briefing: "Tell him I said, 'Hi,'" he joked.

I don't know why people take this guy seriously. He is paid (400 million, I heard) to be a "shock jock". When you're getting paid that kind of money, you better come up with something that is going to shock people and get them talking. He is the same as Imus and Howard Stern.
Unfortunately, there are people out there living in Buttcrack, Arkansas, or wherever, that believe he's real. That's the scary part. He doesn't care about you, folks. He's a multi-millionaire drug addict, and he's laughing all the way to the bank at your expense.

The Reublicans are trying to work with Obama to get things, done and this arrogant empty suit who didn't even serve a full term as Senator, tells them they need to stop listening to Rush Limbaugh.
Many of these folks forgot more than Obama knows about Government and he treats them like this all because they "dare have ideas that don't match the messiah in every way".
How is that going to help "reach across the aisle" and "get things done"?
Then when a Republican tries to raise another valid and DIFFERENT viewpoint, again this arrogant empty suit, shoots him down and says, " I won".
IF BUSH said something like this ALL you Obamabots would have been singing a different tune and by the way, I would have hammered the dolt for it as well.

Is Rush Limbaugh drinking heavily now??
Rush has always been (and always will be) nothing more than an entertainer who uses controversy to sell more books. Even as a conservative myself, I can't help but roll my eyes everytime he opens his big mouth. He knows exactly what he's doing – drumming up controversy to stay in the public spotlight – and the public always seems willing to play along.
Let me put it more clearly: RUSH DOES NOT SPEAK FOR ME, nor does he speak for the vast majority of conservatives with whom I interact. Pres. Obama is my president, regardless of whether I voted for him or not, and he carries my best wishes and prayers as he leads our nation.
As a conservative all I can say is that I wish Rush would just shut up. He is a complete idiot!

I don't know whether to laugh or cry. How deluded can one person be? Whether you're a Republican or Democrat how can you want President Obama to fail? HIs failure will lead to the failure of this great country. No matter which side of the aisle you sit on that would be a catastrophe.

Limbaugh is a total and complete idiot. He first said that he wants Obama to fail. Now he says that Obama is afraid of him, because the President said for the Republicans not to listen to Limbaugh.
This sort of hatred is spewed by the right wing ultra conservative talk shows on radio, tv and blogosphere, which is the main reason for cut-throat opposition among the two main parties.
The Republicans need to understand that the voting public has rejected them this time around, and wants Obama to right the ship. So shut up Limbaugh, Hannity, Kristol and the like.
