Limbaugh: Obama is 'frightened of me'

[cnn-photo-caption image= http://i2.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2009/images/01/26/art.rush0126.gi.jpg caption=" Conservative radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh responded Monday to recent reported comments by President Obama."]
(CNN) - Radio host Rush Limbaugh said Monday that President Obama is “frightened of me.”

“He’s obviously more frightened of me than he is [Senate Minority Leader] Mitch McConnell,” Limbaugh told listeners. “He’s more frightened of me, then he is of say, [House Minority Leader] John Boehner, which doesn’t say much about our party.”

Limbaugh’s comments followed reports Obama warned GOP congressional leaders last week that they should stop listening to the conservative talker, who had said on air he wanted the new president to fail.

"Now this is the great unifier," he told listeners Monday. "This is the man who's going to unify everybody and usher in a new era of bipartisanship and love."

White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs gave reporters the administration's latest message to Limbaugh at Monday's press briefing: "Tell him I said, 'Hi,'" he joked.

Well said Gibbs!. Rush is so caught up in his own image that he does not realise its not about him that the mention is made by the Pres but about of the non-progressive nature of his ideas. But who bothers!. Hi! is the best answer for him

Your beloved party made a complete mess out of this country over the last eight years, Rush, so sit down and shut up. President Obama is four times the man that Rush Limburger ('cuz he stinks just like Limburger cheese), or his favorite pal, Du(m)bya, will EVER be.

Rush Limbaugh have to talk about something just to keep the rating up for his radio show, He need to get over himself and move on and find something else to talk about. Why would President Obama be “frightened of him, this goes to show how pwople think and what amount of time they have on their hands

I truely do not understand why anyone would care what R.Limbaugh thinks anymore. To hope Obama fails is to hope America fails at the moment. I did not support Bush or his policies but never would hope he failed. The consequences of failure are too enormous as is becoming clearer every day. Does Rush want the American people to suffer further. He really should be called to task on this because it really is about as unamerican as anything I have ever heard.

Rush- no he is not scared of you. Its your ignorance and what u represent about the republicans that he fears. IF the republicans are to return to the values and standards we respected for so many years, idiots like Rush need to keep quiet or move him out of the party. Well as we know most conservatives are evangelical base or christians- do you see why people have started doubting the republican party- when you have uncouth, egotistical are racist guys like rush representing you. How do i say im a republican when he spews such hate and stupid statements. As long as Rush purpotedly speaks for us- im staying independent.

Didn't Rush Limbaugh start all this when he was quoted saying that he wanted our President Barack Obama to fail in the next four years? To me that would be saying that Rush Limbaugh wants our country to fail, and that is just way too unamerican. If Rush feels that he can't work with others and wants to be such a blow hard, then maybe he needs to find somewhere else to live, where people can worship him as the god that he thinks that he is.

Rush who? The conservative mouth who is always bullying his vaunted opinons (of both himself & his targets) ~~ the self-righteous bigot of the radio airwaves? If that is who he is: 't'ain't nobody afeared of him or his prejudiced opinons.

What is frightening is that to many crack heads out there actually listen to this idiot. First he wanted to send all drug addicts up the river, that is till he himself ended up with a drug addiction problem. When the shoes were on him, he wanted understanding, and used his money to keep his big butt out of jail. Rush represents the worst of the republican party. He is the extremist base that is blind to the world around them, and has tunnel vision when it comes to the world around them. If they had their way, minorities would never be allowed to rise and suceed in this country. Idiots like Rush, Hannitty, Oreilly (can you say phone sex?) represent the old and jaded views of the old extremist republican guard. If republicans dont wise up and leave these relics behind, they could soon find themselves extinct.

I'm all about free speech but this is just stupid Limbaugh needs to learn when to shut his mouth Obama has much bigger things to worry about than being in a quarrel with a clueless radio host, but i'm sure Obama will take the high road and stay out of it.

Rush is baiting Obama into responding to Rush will remain relevant. Obama has already responded to the first bait now let's see if he keeps it up. If he does, it is a sign of a weak ego, like the one that reared its head by way of his choice of Biden over Clinton for VP.

Limbaugh is hardly someone to be afraid of. As large as a cow and a brain fried from drugs, I really don't think the man knows what his is saying 99% of the time. A totally racist pig.
