Limbaugh: Obama is 'frightened of me'

[cnn-photo-caption image= http://i2.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2009/images/01/26/art.rush0126.gi.jpg caption=" Conservative radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh responded Monday to recent reported comments by President Obama."]
(CNN) - Radio host Rush Limbaugh said Monday that President Obama is “frightened of me.”

“He’s obviously more frightened of me than he is [Senate Minority Leader] Mitch McConnell,” Limbaugh told listeners. “He’s more frightened of me, then he is of say, [House Minority Leader] John Boehner, which doesn’t say much about our party.”

Limbaugh’s comments followed reports Obama warned GOP congressional leaders last week that they should stop listening to the conservative talker, who had said on air he wanted the new president to fail.

"Now this is the great unifier," he told listeners Monday. "This is the man who's going to unify everybody and usher in a new era of bipartisanship and love."

White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs gave reporters the administration's latest message to Limbaugh at Monday's press briefing: "Tell him I said, 'Hi,'" he joked.

The most enjoyable thing about all of this is that Limbaugh actually believes that the President of the United States actually cares about what he says.
Limbaugh, guess what? You are small man in a big world, and you are not nearly as important as you seem to think you are.
But it is fun to laugh at you so thanks for that.

Why does this hatemonger still have a show? Instead of trying to get behind the progress of our country, he's trying to bully the President-leader of the free world- into an interview. if this self-serving peon has a syndicated talk-show, then any loudmouth with an opinion has potential. He proves once again that he's nothing more than a human publicity stunt.

Rush is right! I can't recall another time when the President of the U.S. requests people to not listen to a radio broadcast. What's next, complete Democratic control of the airwaves? He is obviously afraid of Rush, who represents only a few in the media who haven't fallen down to worship him. Even the mighty Obama can't overturn our rights to freedom of speech.

An old cliche applies to this situation, with respect to advice for President Obama:

"Never wrestle with a pig. You both get dirty, and the pig (limbaugh) LIKES it."

Get over yourself, Rush. Besides your small loyal group of listeners, nobody cares about you!

What a bloated ego. The fact that we should care about fear as celebrity value is horrible. I cannot wait til the Rush link of the human species has expired.

Rush, please run for something. Anything. Unless you're scared, of course.

He's a coward who talks from the safety of his insulated echo chamber, struggling to stay relevant to his wingnut audience.

Ridiculous. Talk about delusions of grandure.
He says he wants Obama to fail consequently America to fail because of his own ego. Anything he has to say would only have the intent of the failure of this next president. That is why he shouldn't be listened to.

Let him talk. He is owed freedom of speech, However, understand from where it comes.

God does love America, --even obnoxious, radio mouthpieces have a right to make a buck and a right to free speech. Somebody please tell Limbaugh to post a blog if something goes right and makes him happy ! You have to let the President have a chance to be a hero or a bum and the next 100 days will tell the tale, -or you could ask George to come back for a while !!

If Limbaugh really thinks Obama is afraid of him, he needs to get over himself. Obama has more intelligence and grace in his little finger than Limbaugh has in his whole body.

It's easy to just talk, talk, talk, talk, talk, talk, talk, talk, and talk but not ever really do anything. Run for office, Rush, and show us what you got.

And Mr. President, if you happen to read this, just ignore that idiot. He doesn't matter.

Good Grief...the only frightening thing about this windbag is the fact that anybody gives a darn about anything he has to say.

Everyone should be afraid of Rush. He claims to love America but has yet to show how he is willing to work together to overcome the present problems. All trash talk and looking for a way to make money (listeners) over the good of the country. Just like the banking , stockmarket and investment business it is only me, me, me and not what is right for the people of america.
Rush, take your money and buy some pills.

Everybody is frightened of blow-hard radio comedian Rush Limbaugh – “the great divider” (usually through bluster & lies). I have never been able to figure out why anybody ever listens to the man and I am even more astounded that his opinion counts for anything since he has been caught blatantly lying so often. I continue to be shocked that CNN gives him any exposure whatsoever. His twisted breed of ultra-conservative fact mangling has caused about as much damage as Bush did. As a matter of fact, Bush was able to do as much damage as he did with the full support of Limbaugh's bald-faced lies. The fools are those who think anything he ever says carries any weight at all. In my personal opinion, he is a racist, neo-con pig. And that particular breed cannot go extinct fast enough.

What a dumb thing for Obama to say. I never listened to Rush but now I'm tuning in. Wonder how many new fans Rush has because of Obama's statement. I think O is out of touch or doesn't quite understand.

Why does our new president even acknowledge this hack?

President Obama gives him more credit than he's worth.

    Ignore the hate-monger.

If Blabbaugh has all the answers, why doesn't he run for office?

    Answer: He's a coward.
