Limbaugh: Obama is 'frightened of me'

[cnn-photo-caption image= http://i2.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2009/images/01/26/art.rush0126.gi.jpg caption=" Conservative radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh responded Monday to recent reported comments by President Obama."]
(CNN) - Radio host Rush Limbaugh said Monday that President Obama is “frightened of me.”

“He’s obviously more frightened of me than he is [Senate Minority Leader] Mitch McConnell,” Limbaugh told listeners. “He’s more frightened of me, then he is of say, [House Minority Leader] John Boehner, which doesn’t say much about our party.”

Limbaugh’s comments followed reports Obama warned GOP congressional leaders last week that they should stop listening to the conservative talker, who had said on air he wanted the new president to fail.

"Now this is the great unifier," he told listeners Monday. "This is the man who's going to unify everybody and usher in a new era of bipartisanship and love."

White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs gave reporters the administration's latest message to Limbaugh at Monday's press briefing: "Tell him I said, 'Hi,'" he joked.

You are certifiable, Rushie (rhymes with Bushie).
Wake up and smell reality ..... if you possibly can.
I love seeing you sooooo desperate!

I think a lot of sane, rational and intelligent people are afraid of Limbaugh. He is a scary guy – it's a sad state of affairs that someone like him has his own talk radio show and there are people who actually listen.

Hey Rush, instead of antagonizing your President and your fellow citizens, how about coming out from behind the microphone and doing something to help our country instead of spewing forth your useless comments. Go volunteer your time to feed the homeless, comfort the sick and dying in a local hospital, raise money for cancer or Parkinson's or stem cell research – DO SOMETHING THAT REALLY MAKES A DIFFERENCE.

Ahh...Limbaugh...no one is afraid of Limbaugh; he's just another burned out hypocrite whose shrinking fan base has left him as a de facto leader of a small contingency of bitter, ignorant, and uneducated white men.

Limbaugh has the most to lose in an atmosphere of partisonship and goodwill; it is Limbaugh who is afraid.

I'm a registered Republican. And people like Rush are what pushed me to vote for Obama. He is a despicable, ugly person who will not be missed when his days are at an end.

I think the President picked a fight he can't win....and I love it. I hope Rush cuts this smarmy schoolboy down to size. I have no respect for this usurper and media darling. Get em' Rush!

If Rush Limbaugh cared about America and our Poltics so much, then why hasn't he ran for office? Simple, Limbaugh doesn't care about America! Limbaugh only cares about the millions of dollars that he makes form his talk show. A lousy show that only exists to make him money. Limbaugh is in the Game of Seperating and Dividing Americans! The more people fight, and the more our political leaders fight, the more Money that Limbaugh makes! If anyone is afraid of anyone, then it's Limbaugh afraid that Obama will Unite Our Country, which would kill Limbaughs dirty talk show!

Ya, Ok, Rush. The young, fit, intelligent one holding the highest office in the country is afraid of the overweight, irrelevant, aged addict.

If there is any force of karma, the days of hate will retire with you.

It is going to be quite amusing listening to the (hopefully) last generation of good 'ol boys trying to explain to their offspring how the white men with the southern values are superior to everyone else.

So keep digging that hole, it will only be a matter of time before the people who actually listen to the fictional garbage you spew will wake up. And you, like the rest of the incestuous losers who supported the last 8yrs of corruption, segregation and incompetence will go extinct.

For the rest of us, you did not exist in the first place.

It's nice to hear that Rush Limbaugh wants the new president to fail. I guess his fame is more important than the welfare of the citizens, because if this president fails, we are all in trouble. Aren't we all getting a bit tired of this nasty stuff? Clearly 70% of the country is. Maybe Limbaugh's sponsors will take a hint.

Rush Limbaugh is pathetic and a loser, and so are the unthinking people who listen to him. No wonder why he's single. Who could stand being around such a hateful human being 24/7. It is amazing to me that anyone can even stand listening to them. They're all just as hateful.

Limbaugh has no dignity. He should not be treated the same way as decent and dignified individuals from the other side of the aisle. I am not surprised Obama would like to avoid his ideas even becoming involved because Limbaugh has no love for most Americans and the sooner he disappears from public life the better off the world will be.

What a joke! No one cares what this white racist moron thinks! He must really be losing listeners at a tremendous rate to try to keep his name in the news.
Limbaugh is an ignorant nutjob who should be pulled off the air so we can be spared any more of his hate-spewing absolutely ridiculous outbursts.
I am sure, like the rest of America, Obama could care less about Limbaugh and his irrelevant and out-of-touch with reality statements.

Maybe Limbaugh needs to rachet up his drug use and drift off into the land of "who cares"!!

What a joke! If Limbaugh wants to see failure – he should just look in the mirror.

It appears that Press Secretary Gibbs and President Obama quickly learned that if you wrestle with a pig, you both get dirty. However, the pig enjoys it. In this case, ignore the pig. Limbaugh knows his relevance to the national debate, except with fringe ideologues, shrinks with each day.

It's a pity that when the entire nation , and world as well , is facing daunting times someone is using the air waves to propagate division , hate and pessimistic messages. We should be united regardless of color, regiligion or party affiliation to help rebuilding the nation.
This is like someone wishing a Doctor to fail an operation because he/she doesn't like the patient.

If Rush thinks that the mention of his name scares Obama, then it proves he's in withdrawal again and having delusions of granduar. Whats truely laughable however is that there are still those even in these times of despair that truely listen to this man. How many more jobs must be lost. How many more plant closings must occur. How many more families will be reduced to begging before this idiot and others like him recognize the damage they have done to this once proud and prosperous country. This isnt about Red states or Blue States. Its about the UNITED STATES! And frankly its time they get on board OR PACK and Leave.

I don't think any "thinking", intelligent person even listens to this fool! What an ego! And why would ANYONE wish for their country to fail! This just shows Limbaugh is more interested in "being right" than in what is good for his country! What a hypocrite!
