Limbaugh: Obama is 'frightened of me'

(CNN) - Radio host Rush Limbaugh said Monday that President Obama is “frightened of me.”
“He’s obviously more frightened of me than he is [Senate Minority Leader] Mitch McConnell,” Limbaugh told listeners. “He’s more frightened of me, then he is of say, [House Minority Leader] John Boehner, which doesn’t say much about our party.”
Limbaugh’s comments followed reports Obama warned GOP congressional leaders last week that they should stop listening to the conservative talker, who had said on air he wanted the new president to fail.
"Now this is the great unifier," he told listeners Monday. "This is the man who's going to unify everybody and usher in a new era of bipartisanship and love."
White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs gave reporters the administration's latest message to Limbaugh at Monday's press briefing: "Tell him I said, 'Hi,'" he joked.

It's probably not worth reporting what Rush has to say these days. He's irrelevant, and more concerning...he's irritating. There are probably more positive stories to report.

Who does Rush think he's kidding? I think Obama meant something more like "This guy doesn't have anything worthwhile to say in this discussion, so don't waste your time listening to him." Rush, If the only way you can feel worthwhile is to cut someone else down, you need to get a life and another job that gives you an opportunity to find another direction.
The fact that Obama acknowledges Rush speaks volumes of Obama's lack of stature. You are the President for God's sake, start acting like it.

Rush must be back on the 30+ Oxycontin a day. The reason that Barack would tell the GOP politicians to not listen to Rush is not because he is afraid of him (hilarious!) but because Rush is a cancer that needs to be stopped. The more that people listen to that insane man, the worst things will be and we will never be able to come together.

Limbaugh is an egomaniac and a bigot. He made unsubstantiated race based criticisms of Donovan McNabb as beign media hype despite his success of taking his team to the divisional playoffs multiple times. And his overall body of criticisms of Obama boil down to no black person gets anywhere or achieves anything by merit unless it was an affirmative action handout. His comments about Obama's race, his victory, and his policies are all testiment to Limbaughs underlying prejudice and bigotry toward black people.
Anyone else who said they wanted the POTUS to fail would be taken off of the air. I guess Clearchannel's $100 milliion investment (despite them laying off/firing hundreds of other employees) is testament to the hollowness and frustration of so many other Americans. If Limbaugh really cares about people and America, he should renegotiate his contract to save a few of those people's jobs.
Limbaugh is a bigot. There is no law against it. But that doesn't mean he shouldn't be recognized for what he is.
