Limbaugh: Obama is 'frightened of me'

[cnn-photo-caption image= http://i2.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2009/images/01/26/art.rush0126.gi.jpg caption=" Conservative radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh responded Monday to recent reported comments by President Obama."]
(CNN) - Radio host Rush Limbaugh said Monday that President Obama is “frightened of me.”

“He’s obviously more frightened of me than he is [Senate Minority Leader] Mitch McConnell,” Limbaugh told listeners. “He’s more frightened of me, then he is of say, [House Minority Leader] John Boehner, which doesn’t say much about our party.”

Limbaugh’s comments followed reports Obama warned GOP congressional leaders last week that they should stop listening to the conservative talker, who had said on air he wanted the new president to fail.

"Now this is the great unifier," he told listeners Monday. "This is the man who's going to unify everybody and usher in a new era of bipartisanship and love."

White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs gave reporters the administration's latest message to Limbaugh at Monday's press briefing: "Tell him I said, 'Hi,'" he joked.

He can keep on preaching hate and give us another 4 years. Fact is no one is going to vote republican ever again as long as the base of the republican party attached to this conservative want to be christian rhetoric.

I'll give Rush 100,000 to 1 odds that BHO could take him at any competition ever known to man except for a belly flop competition or a hot-dog eating competition.

Why should the most powerful person in the world be frightened of a drugg addicted gasbag? Limbaugh believes his own hype. Even a couple of Republican strategists on TV said he was out of line when he hoped Obama failed.

it is very sad to listen to rush limbaugh make all kinds of comments and remarks about the then presidential candidate Obama and now president Obama.i dont know whether he really takes interest in what american families are going through on a daily basis or he wants to amuse himself behind his daily microphone....he is a confutionist, a social distractor and someone who likes to sow seeds of hatred among well meaning americans whiles he sits back and laugh...he sincerely does not like Obama but that does not mean a thing to Obama or many well meaning americans....i wish rush will be able to come up with a sustainable solution to our economic crisis otherwise he should stop his daily nonsense and look at what unfolds with our new and reliable Government.

Why is this guy always angry? Why does he always want to fight? He generates more hates than good for the people. People should pay no attention to him.

Obama is not scared of you. You and your BIG MOUTH is what got Bush and this nation in problems now. To want a PRESIDENT to fail is wanting AMERICA to fail and also is a bad signal for your crappy party.

Operation Chaos Is Coming Together Swimmingly! By bashing, Rush Obama gets to control what it is Rush squawks about for the next 72 hours or so. He gets Rush to show how partisan and divisive he really is, and forces less conservative allies to defend Obama. Just look at what Bennett was forced to say on CNN in the interest of fair play and progress. What could be better then having the conservatives in fight over how Rush is wrong. While that goes on Obama can advance his cause without opposition. The GOP is in for another 40 years in the wilderness if they don’t Hush Rush.

I have that Obama succeed for the sake of this country that was left by your beloved Bush in the worst shape since the depression. Imbuagh seems to focus on his own agenda and nothing about the country.

Rush needs to understand as well with the rest of these loons that America spoke and we are tierd of all this ideology. We are not living in Biblical times – this is now and we need real solutions – ones that help our people – not the buisnesses that are shipping our jobs overseas. Please, Republican bullcrap is getting really old and no one is listening unless they are down right stupid.

Rush Limbaugh, who? So insignificant. A true patriot wants his Commander in Chief to fail (that's so American).

After 8 years of Bush/Cheny and failed Republican ideologies....the Obama camp and Democrats alike won't be flustered by right wing attacks.

It was those attacks that HELPED us get elected and it will be those attacks that will HELP us succeed.

Republicans need to truly re-build there party so that they can work on growing a base outside of the Southern states.
