Limbaugh: Obama is 'frightened of me'

[cnn-photo-caption image= http://i2.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2009/images/01/26/art.rush0126.gi.jpg caption=" Conservative radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh responded Monday to recent reported comments by President Obama."]
(CNN) - Radio host Rush Limbaugh said Monday that President Obama is “frightened of me.”

“He’s obviously more frightened of me than he is [Senate Minority Leader] Mitch McConnell,” Limbaugh told listeners. “He’s more frightened of me, then he is of say, [House Minority Leader] John Boehner, which doesn’t say much about our party.”

Limbaugh’s comments followed reports Obama warned GOP congressional leaders last week that they should stop listening to the conservative talker, who had said on air he wanted the new president to fail.

"Now this is the great unifier," he told listeners Monday. "This is the man who's going to unify everybody and usher in a new era of bipartisanship and love."

White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs gave reporters the administration's latest message to Limbaugh at Monday's press briefing: "Tell him I said, 'Hi,'" he joked.

Rush Limbaugh's an idiot and so are those who listen to him and believe every word he says. Unfortunately there are too many. Life would be so much easier with a few less Limbaugh's, Hannity's and O'Reilly's.

Limbaugh, conservative. Ha ha what a laugh. most of the so-called conservatives are nothing but a bunch of hypocrites. Liars, half truths, pill poppers, drunks, cheaters, more concerned about their careers than they are the american people. they are called THE RIGHT? the dickens you say!!!!!

Limbaugh wanted Obama to win to boost his flailing ratings. Now, he's got a target. He's a non-factor and anybody and everybody knows it. So, he's gonna throw out verbal caca every once in a while and see if sticks to the wall. If CNN and other news based information entities would simply ignore him like most of rest of the free world does, he'd simply slip silently into that good night . The reason nobody listens to him is he really has nothing inciteful or knowledge based to say about anything. He's a shrill person on his soap box with no conscience .

Sorry Rush. You might not respect the man, but at least respect the office. Saying you want Obama to fail is the same thing as saying that you want the country to fail and to descend even further into an economic abyss and ruin. America made it's choice, and sorry bub, they've had enough of the kind of people you stand behind.

Can't Rush just go away? I don't even care if he goes away quietly as long as he goes. Yeah, if the people running our government in WA are smart they'll stop listening to Rush because America said ENOUGH to the kind of attack dog negative crap people like Rush and Anne Coulter spout on a daily basis.

I hope that Obama succeed for the sake of this country that was left by your (Limbaugh ) beloved Bush in the worst shape since the depression. Limbaugh seems to focus on his own agenda and nothing about the goodness of the country.

CNN the "Pot Stirrer". Rush Limbaugh said that he wanted Obama to fail if it meant we had to have a government based on Socialism. CNN please report the entire story and not just "certain words" to incite trouble between liberals and conservatives.

I can't believe 20 million Americans listen to this guy. Reading his website, he is so full of himself. If you analyze what he says, it doesn't make much sense. And he wants the president to fail. I pity the people who listen to him. They are openly declaring how prejudiced and dumb they are.

Mr. Limbaugh is a disgrace to all Americans. No one should want Republicans to fail, or Democrats to fail- but for America to succeed. His view of politics is unwavering, uncompromising partisanship- through which nothing can be accomplished. Our government needs to renew the spirit of unity that was once present in our government (although not for a long time) so that we can see the benefit of all Americans, and the demise of all failure.

One must wonder what is rooted in a psychology of this nature, so often proven to be spreading lies and misinformation, yet so convinced he is absolutely right and anyone different is absolutely wrong. It is a primitive mind that must reduce the world to such absolutes.

Who is this guy? Companies are laying off thousands of workers. Our economy is the worst it's been in our life time. And....we are fighting terrorist all around us. And all Limbaugh can say is he hopes Obama fails. If Obama fails our country fails! Just because Obama is not a Republican, Limbaugh wants our country to fail. What's wrong with this guy! If Republicans don't agree with Obama, come up with something better! Stop disagreeing just because. This whole Democrat vs Republican stuff is old!

Mr. Limbaugh is a verbal terrorist to the American people!

    I can't stand that jerk!

How dare Mr. Limbaugh threaten the American people by wishing that Obama fails!

What a jerk you are, Mr. Limbaugh.

I hope Mr. Limbaugh fails !!

So the right wing guru says President Obama would like to usher in a new era of bipartisanship and love. Sounds good to me. I think Rush is the one who is frightened, scared Obama might pull it off.

Rush, I'M frightened of you, and of everybody who thinks that you have actual interest in ANYTHING other than the multi-million dollar radio deal you have, and stirring up controversy to make sure your paycheck remains fat and sweet. YOU scare the heck out of me. Fortunately, our President is smarter than most, and I actually trust him to take on these problems we face and come up with solutions that put our country on the correct path.

Anyone who wants the president to fail isn't a real American. Bush's policies may have failed, but no one wanted him to fail for the sake of the country.
