Limbaugh: Obama is 'frightened of me'

[cnn-photo-caption image= http://i2.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2009/images/01/26/art.rush0126.gi.jpg caption=" Conservative radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh responded Monday to recent reported comments by President Obama."]
(CNN) - Radio host Rush Limbaugh said Monday that President Obama is “frightened of me.”

“He’s obviously more frightened of me than he is [Senate Minority Leader] Mitch McConnell,” Limbaugh told listeners. “He’s more frightened of me, then he is of say, [House Minority Leader] John Boehner, which doesn’t say much about our party.”

Limbaugh’s comments followed reports Obama warned GOP congressional leaders last week that they should stop listening to the conservative talker, who had said on air he wanted the new president to fail.

"Now this is the great unifier," he told listeners Monday. "This is the man who's going to unify everybody and usher in a new era of bipartisanship and love."

White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs gave reporters the administration's latest message to Limbaugh at Monday's press briefing: "Tell him I said, 'Hi,'" he joked.

Rush Limbaugh, should be careful, he should watch his big mouth. He is playing with fire, he just does'nt know it yet.
Just to get media attention and to provocate radio listeners (cheap marketing tactic) is really not helping the American people, by negative comments to the U.S. leader.

By the way, this is the first time we have elected an intelligent, a true president. Had President Obama been the leader since 2000, we would'nt have had to sing the economic blues?

Supporters of Rush Limbaugh do not understand that he must be happy with Obama's election since it means job security for at least the next 4 years. They also don't realize is that Rush is a carnival entertainer selling "snake oil" to an easily deceived audience.

Yes he should be afraid of college flunky that only attended because he needed a deferment because he to cowardly to go to war. Move on like all the women in your life Rush. The country is in terrible shape and Rush is part of the problem. America is tired of all the BS that goes on in Washington and we want someone to clean it up. If that person is to be Obama than I'm behind him.

Limbaugh delivers tons of misinformation, denial and discord each day. He spouts off on what he doesn't know in a pseudo-authoritative manner that is quite irritating. I tune him out by identifying with a quote by Nixon: "Those of you who think you know everything are annoying to those of us who do."

Umm, afraid? Are you kidding? Maybe worried about you pushing drugs on his daughters. Maybe concerned that you'll teach them hypocrisy. But fear, you really do live in your own little world, don't you?

President Obama doesn't have the TIME to be scared of this loser! He is working on SOLVING the problems CAUSED by the Republican administration...Limbaugh will NEVER get it. He's just a big bag of WIND.

Limbaugh is a lonely old man who has nothing more to do than to tear down people who have given their lives to the better cause of mankind. He's lonely inside, and uses his personal attacks on others as a smoke screen to hide his pain... what a sad case he is!

Right on schedule–Rush Limbaugh's weekly attempt to remain relevant. He, Palin & Coulter appear to be in a desperate struggle to entertain the few remaining Neo-Cons left.

Poor Rush. Will someone please tell him that his ranting is one reason so many people voted against the Republicans. If him and Sean keep it up, there won't be any Republicans in office. Thanks Rush for all you are doing to set this country back on the right path.

Considering the current state of affairs and the rate at which they continue to deteriorate, anyone wishing for the President to fail is foolish. If the President fails, where does that leave the rest of the country? I can't wait until the day comes when Limbaugh's audience realize that they're smarter than he is and have no reason to listen to the blustering windbag.

Limbaugh's comments should not be justified with a response by President Obama. Ignore Limbaugh's monologue and get on with the business of managing the country.
