Limbaugh: Obama is 'frightened of me'

[cnn-photo-caption image= http://i2.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2009/images/01/26/art.rush0126.gi.jpg caption=" Conservative radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh responded Monday to recent reported comments by President Obama."]
(CNN) - Radio host Rush Limbaugh said Monday that President Obama is “frightened of me.”

“He’s obviously more frightened of me than he is [Senate Minority Leader] Mitch McConnell,” Limbaugh told listeners. “He’s more frightened of me, then he is of say, [House Minority Leader] John Boehner, which doesn’t say much about our party.”

Limbaugh’s comments followed reports Obama warned GOP congressional leaders last week that they should stop listening to the conservative talker, who had said on air he wanted the new president to fail.

"Now this is the great unifier," he told listeners Monday. "This is the man who's going to unify everybody and usher in a new era of bipartisanship and love."

White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs gave reporters the administration's latest message to Limbaugh at Monday's press briefing: "Tell him I said, 'Hi,'" he joked.

If Limbaugh's such an expert about everything, why doesn't he do something good for the country, such as running for office or even having a show that comes up ideas about how to change things for the good. Oh wait a minute, that wouldn't make money for the show.

I sincerely doubt President Obama is afraid of Rush Limbaugh! Pres. Obama would probably like people to stop listening to Limbaugh because Limbaugh has only divisive and hateful things to say and Pres. Obama would like to get our country working together again. Imagine Limbaugh saying that he would like Pres. Obama to fail–which means he would like our entire country to fail. Now there's a patriot for you! Limbaugh will say anything to get a rise out of people. He seems a hateful and pathetic person to me!

Thank God, Rush plays to such a small audience. Like Bill O'Reily once said; this is how I make a living. To bad their commentaries don't represent reality!

Rush Limbaugh said "you wish failure on the president". You, Rush Limbaugh, you will fail in your show by the end of February. I wish failure upon you.

God will see to that failure fall upon you, Rush Limbaugh.

Rush Limbaugh is quite irrelevant. He may have some followers who are regretably the same folks who find Sarah Palin relevant. We need to focus on those individuals who are important and can help make a real difference; whether they are Democrats, Republicans, Liberals or Conservatives. Limbaugh is simply an entertainer. He is a chubby, bitter old man. He is only interested in stirring things up. Remember back in school those kids who were acting up to get attention? ignore them and they will go away...

All the haters need to move to a different country. Iran would be a nice fit for you. We are trying to rebuild this one. Limbaugh obviously don't have anything else to do. It is evident that Limbaugh is hanging on President Obama every word and action. Go get a life!!! The American people don't need your negativity nor did we ask for it!!!!!!!!!!
Limbaugh is a joke!!!!!!!! CNN you should not entertain such foolishness before your ratings really drop. We are really tired of the media finding fault in everything said or done. President Obama is doing exactly what he said on the campaign trail and that is what the American people voted for. The American people realize you can't make everybody happy and Limbaugh has chosen just to be a miserable person that we all need to pray for.

Only an idiot would listen to someone who wants the president to fail. If the president fails, the country fails. Does he want the economy to fall apart? Does he want the President to fail at protecting us from terrorists? Rush is pretty much asking for another 9-11.

Rush Limbaugh and his "EiB" (excellence in braodcasting?) network should walk east 'til hats float. Here's a person who sits on the sidelines and spews his invective five days a week, who apparently is so incensed by President Obama's victory that he now has at least another 4 years' worth of venting all worked up.
Maybe he just likes to hear himself talk.

The only thing that Rush is worried about is being removed from any prominent role in his party as they start to come to grips with reality and realize that a cancer like Rush was the reason why they were blown out of the election by Obama and the Democrats.

Keep on fighting to stay relevant, you callous pill-popper. I'd love to see you tear down the Republican Party while you're trying.

Fear of limbaugh? nah...sick and tired of his innane, spiritless, nasty comments along with Hannity and Coulture? yup. this country is trying to heal after 8 years of disgusting, lackless, spiritless "leadership" and every single time you try to listen to these guys and have any sense of country, all you hear is hate mongering. Obama is not afraid, no one is afraid of these cowards, we're just tired of listening to them speak and say nothing of substance...its like the ventroliquist dummy only there is no one with their hand up their backs...there just dumb.

Rush is proving himself to be the narcissistic, cry-baby we always knew him to be. He's smarting because he wasn't invited to dinner and now he's proving he's anti-american and unpatriotic by telling people he wants Obama, the duly elected president of the United States to fail. That's treason Rush
