Limbaugh: Obama is 'frightened of me'

[cnn-photo-caption image= http://i2.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2009/images/01/26/art.rush0126.gi.jpg caption=" Conservative radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh responded Monday to recent reported comments by President Obama."]
(CNN) - Radio host Rush Limbaugh said Monday that President Obama is “frightened of me.”

“He’s obviously more frightened of me than he is [Senate Minority Leader] Mitch McConnell,” Limbaugh told listeners. “He’s more frightened of me, then he is of say, [House Minority Leader] John Boehner, which doesn’t say much about our party.”

Limbaugh’s comments followed reports Obama warned GOP congressional leaders last week that they should stop listening to the conservative talker, who had said on air he wanted the new president to fail.

"Now this is the great unifier," he told listeners Monday. "This is the man who's going to unify everybody and usher in a new era of bipartisanship and love."

White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs gave reporters the administration's latest message to Limbaugh at Monday's press briefing: "Tell him I said, 'Hi,'" he joked.

He is obviously an idiot, who needs help mentally and yet people still give him attention...People – stop feeding this attention starved sicko...He has clearly stated that he wants President Obama to fail and to me that is directly refering to us failing as a nation. To all of the haters out there against President Obama, we need to recover from this mess we are in regardless of who's in charge and this type of stuff is like someone going to a cancer ward in a hospital and laughing saying "I hope you fail" to the doctor who is giving his best effort to make things right with this deathly disease....

May God have mercy on his soul....

Nobama is the "great unifier". What a joke. He's the great empty suit, the self-important whiner who can't even take reporters' questions. It doesn't matter that Nobama doesn't listen to Rush, he doesn't have to. It's enough that someone is daring to criticize the Great One. He's sickening.

And if anyone has a question about where the media stands, check out the coverage. If Bush had done the same things Nobama did, such as naming a Treasury Secretary who doesn't even pay his taxes (and many other things), the media would be reporting A NEW ADMINISTRATION IN CRISIS. But it's Barry, so they barely find anything wrong. Nobama would have to strangle a bunny rabbit on "The View" for there to be any criticism of him.

I really don't think the White House should waste precious time responding to drug addict Limbaugh. This helps him, not the party.

I hope the president and his cabinet will concentrate on the nations's business and let limp baugh continue to slowly disappear from the radar screen. That small group of people that follow him are not enough to worry about.

Limbaugh is obviously delusional. It's entertaining that he actually spouts this egotistical babel after the whooping his party just took.

This country is in a very bad position on many levels and all Limbaugh can do is try and tear the person down who was elected to lead us. Sad, it really is.

I think it's great that we have people in this country that are so partisan, they will hope for failure. It doesn't say much about Limbaugh and his listeners as Americans. While I am an Obama supporter, I would have been behind John McCain had he won the election. This man and his kind disgust me.

Quite the opposite is true. It's obvious that Limbaugh is scared of Obama. Republican ideals are on the decline, and Limbaugh sees his power and influence waning and Obama's and the Democrats' growing. If it continues, Limbaugh may continue lose popularity and listener-ship. If so, his show might begin to be canceled by stations, and his career might be in jeopardy. This is a case of the pot calling the kettle black.
