Limbaugh: Obama is 'frightened of me'

[cnn-photo-caption image= http://i2.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2009/images/01/26/art.rush0126.gi.jpg caption=" Conservative radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh responded Monday to recent reported comments by President Obama."]
(CNN) - Radio host Rush Limbaugh said Monday that President Obama is “frightened of me.”

“He’s obviously more frightened of me than he is [Senate Minority Leader] Mitch McConnell,” Limbaugh told listeners. “He’s more frightened of me, then he is of say, [House Minority Leader] John Boehner, which doesn’t say much about our party.”

Limbaugh’s comments followed reports Obama warned GOP congressional leaders last week that they should stop listening to the conservative talker, who had said on air he wanted the new president to fail.

"Now this is the great unifier," he told listeners Monday. "This is the man who's going to unify everybody and usher in a new era of bipartisanship and love."

White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs gave reporters the administration's latest message to Limbaugh at Monday's press briefing: "Tell him I said, 'Hi,'" he joked.

Limpballs frightens me too, he's a llunitic. If he wants our President to fail then he must want our country to fail. That's obvious because that's exactly what would happen if the President fails, You see what happened to our country when Bush fail, there isn't a President in history who has ruined our country as much as Bush has. We are fighting our way back from failed policies , lie's and a unnecessary war and this mentally deranged idiot sits on the radio and spreads hate and gush's ignorant obscenities.Limpballs is a drug addict who has lost his hearing and his mind has gone with it. I think he should be in a mental institution.
What a hateful waste of breath.

Really, Rush? It kind of seems like it might be the other way around.

Limbaugh always has been and always will be a pompas hypocritical windbag. The fact that people actually follow this idiot and have for years amazes me. If he is successful in one way it is by cashing in on the ignorance and meanspirited nature of a good bit of conservative America. I seriously doubt that the President of the United States is afraid of him- egomaniac. Go take another Oxy Rush... your heyday is long over.

Oh please... Obama has a country to run and he doesn't have the time or lack of intelligence to play back-and-forth with Mr. Limbaugh. Nor is he afraid of him – Obama is ten times the man rush Limbaugh is or ever will be.

If Limbaugh wants to disagree with Obama's policies and call him an idiot... fine. While he certainly has a right to say whatever he wants, saying he wants Obama to fail is dumb. It's like being on a sinking ship and hoping the captain can't make it to port in time to save the ship, all to prove you were right all along about what route to take. I don't think Obama is afraid of Limbaugh so much as pissed that this dude is spouting off these things and not really doing anything to help.

it's not that he's scared of you...he just is against fat pedophilic drug users that have no remorse for anyone that is not faithful to the party. rush, you wacko, go crawl under that 400 million rock you came out from. Now, if we want to bail people out, rush should donate his 400 million salary to the poor. no...he won't do that, that would mean that this idiot needs to do something nice for a change. He's such little...oops, i mean ugly overwieght jerkoff...that he would never do that. Now, if sean hanity asked him, i'm sure the idiots at fox news and the eib network would do it...schmuck.
Rush is a racist...listen to him sometimes...everytime I do, I have to change the channel b/c I feel like throwing up.
Rush is a nazi sympathizer...again listen to him!
Rush is a drug user...look who's calling the proverbial kettle "black!"
Rush is overwieght, Obama is not
Rush is an idiot...Obama is not
Rush is scared...because he needs to do something to get some attention!
    Go to Hell rush.

If Obama fails, America suffers. How could you say you want him to fail? Rush is out of touch. The reality is that the American people have clearly spoken. We want the change that president Obama has promised. Now that the election is over, Obama is "our" president. He is the president of all of the American people. So, give him a chance. To do otherwise is un-American.

President Obama has better things to do (like bring our troops home from Iraq, work on our failing economy, among a few items) than worry about this useless and unfunny windbag. This is not news and it stinks of desperation.

It's no long about you, Rush and your loud mouth propaganda. Stop trying to pull a PALIN and keep your name in the news. Yes, RUSH=SARAH – how do you like them apples? Brains and beauty – neither one of you have them.

Someone get into Limbaugh's office or home it appears he is on his favorite dope again . I guess next for him is smuggling illegal viagra into the country again from south america. He seems happiest when he has a long dark round cigar[iguess] stuck in his mouth. It appears to act like a pacifier for him.

if i remember correctly, this fellah named Rush is a pillhead, liar and cheat. i mean, why else would he be going to Dominican Republic with his pals and a satchel full of Viagra. it's amazing he's still on the air. and more amazing that CNN would give him any exposure. as we say here in maine, "shut up, Limberger."

Limbaugh, and you think your comments are a unifier? Do you think your comments help the Republican Party? Do you think any Republican worth his or her salt wants our President to fail? Is that what you want your fellow Americans to have to go thru? Take President Obama out of the picture. Any way you look at it, you are a babbling idiot! When you open your mouth, stupid comes out. I agree with Joy Behar, the oxycontin has saturated your head. Notice I said head instead of brain (which I seriously question that you even have).

There are plenty of intelligent, well-intentioned, and articulate conservatives in this country. THEY must speak up and express their views and be heard. Limbaugh, like Sean Hannity and Glen Beck, appeal to people's emotions and fears rather than their minds.
I consider myself fairly liberal, but I think we need a strong conservative voice in this country. Please people, listen to George Will and Bill Kristol: the voices of conservative reason.
