Limbaugh: Obama is 'frightened of me'

[cnn-photo-caption image= http://i2.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2009/images/01/26/art.rush0126.gi.jpg caption=" Conservative radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh responded Monday to recent reported comments by President Obama."]
(CNN) - Radio host Rush Limbaugh said Monday that President Obama is “frightened of me.”

“He’s obviously more frightened of me than he is [Senate Minority Leader] Mitch McConnell,” Limbaugh told listeners. “He’s more frightened of me, then he is of say, [House Minority Leader] John Boehner, which doesn’t say much about our party.”

Limbaugh’s comments followed reports Obama warned GOP congressional leaders last week that they should stop listening to the conservative talker, who had said on air he wanted the new president to fail.

"Now this is the great unifier," he told listeners Monday. "This is the man who's going to unify everybody and usher in a new era of bipartisanship and love."

White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs gave reporters the administration's latest message to Limbaugh at Monday's press briefing: "Tell him I said, 'Hi,'" he joked.

Sounds like grade school tactics. "He's scared! Chicken!" Does he honestly believe the president will respond to this?

It always amazes me that people listen to this man. Pure excrement.

I think someone needs to kindly remind Mr. Limbaugh that there is more at stake here than his publicity. If he would like President Obama to fail, that's fine. He can hope, pray, and cross his fingers; but regardless of who is president of the United States, there is a lot of work that needs to be done to get us back on the right track and everything should be done to ensure that it is done.

Afraid of you? How about ignoring you! How patriotic to wish that the new President fails when the country is in such bad shape. What an idiot!.

Limbaugh is flatulence in a headwind that he may not survive. We saw the effect of his sort of rhetoric during the last administration, and the efficacy of that rhetoric during the last election. Say goodnight, Rush.

Rush spent years(!) blindly supporting Bush...just about everything out of his mouth is either a lie or extremely misconstrued. Obama's "frightened of me." Yeah right, Rush. Your little plan to disrupt the primaries by encouraging Republicans in Texas to vote for Hillary backfired! You know why, but your idiot Ditto-heads probably haven't figured it out. It helped Obama, because his defense skills were strengthened AND just about anything one could remotely connect to Obama was thrown on the table....allowing enough time for it to be questioned....and no one really cared anyway...Obama's NOT: Muslim (as if it matters), a socialist (ooo, like the Japanese, Swiss, and English are scary) and not anti-American. I bet Rush was thrilled with Obama's win–now he doesn't have to defend Bush, and that was the hardest part of Rush's little job. FLUSH RUSH.

It really upsets me to see how someone can use his influence to create so much hatred and division. I love this country way too much that I could ever wish any leader, who looks out for the common good, anything else but success.

Now why would the president be afraid of somebody like Rush Limbaugh.Rush Limbaugh has life messed up.And I really don't know why he thinks that he can intimidate everybody.Just like the comment you made last week about you hope that he fails.Through God he hasn't failed yet,all this time he kept on pushing and will continue to push on.See it's people like Rush Limbaugh that can't except that he won the Presidency ,and he didn't steal it from his own like his President Bush stole it from Al Gore.See when you start off wrong you end up wrong ,and when you start off right you end up right. That's why "THE LORD IS BLESSING HIM RIGHT NOW OH RIGHT NOW"And he will continue to bless him.So Rush Limbaugh go and HATERADE ON SOMEBODY ELSE AND LET MY PRES DO HIS JOB.

he's telling people not to listen to Limbaugh cause Limbaugh is divisive and doesnt' actually want anything good to happen out of this or any administration. Limbaugh is out to create a stir and he's getting it. he doesn't care for anything near "good" to happen.
