Limbaugh: Obama is 'frightened of me'

[cnn-photo-caption image= http://i2.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2009/images/01/26/art.rush0126.gi.jpg caption=" Conservative radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh responded Monday to recent reported comments by President Obama."]
(CNN) - Radio host Rush Limbaugh said Monday that President Obama is “frightened of me.”

“He’s obviously more frightened of me than he is [Senate Minority Leader] Mitch McConnell,” Limbaugh told listeners. “He’s more frightened of me, then he is of say, [House Minority Leader] John Boehner, which doesn’t say much about our party.”

Limbaugh’s comments followed reports Obama warned GOP congressional leaders last week that they should stop listening to the conservative talker, who had said on air he wanted the new president to fail.

"Now this is the great unifier," he told listeners Monday. "This is the man who's going to unify everybody and usher in a new era of bipartisanship and love."

White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs gave reporters the administration's latest message to Limbaugh at Monday's press briefing: "Tell him I said, 'Hi,'" he joked.

How in the world does this guy still have a radio talk show? Drugs, alcohol, denouncing the President... the list could go on for days. What an idiot.

This is just a pathetic attempt by Limbaugh to get attention.

He is clawing to the side of the slippery cliff of irrelevance from which he is rapidly falling.

What? Limbaugh thinks he is is going to bully the President of the United States into meeting him for a brawl in the schoolyard?

Limbaugh's days in the media are numbered and he is frightened of the end. This attempt to gain attention and Limbaugh's statement that "He hopes Obama fails" is the death rattle of a gas-bag.

    Go away, Limbaugh. It's over.

Fade Away... Fade away.... fade away....

What a calloused, negative, and spiteful American citizen. What a shame. Apparently he's stuck in our country because hell won't have him and Guantanamo Bay is being shut down. Poor USA.

The Obama administration (along with CNN and other major media outlets) shouldn't be giving Rush Limbaugh the pleasure of having attention centered on him, which is really all Limbaugh tries to accomplish anyways. The guy has absolutely no credibility in the political field, and to post this guy on the news every other week only fuels his ego and feeling of self-importance, which leads to him making more ridiculous statements such as "Obama is frightened of me."

Who the heck are you, Rush Limbaugh, a radio host who was forced to quit from ESPN, that Barack Obama, the leader of the most powerful country in the world, has to fear you of all people? Trust me, Rush, you're not that important of a guy. Nice try, though.

What a nut...I think he is losing what little mind he has left – get this guy off the air. I heard him during a Hannity interview and R.L. couldn't string a sentence together. Now if you could find him a job pushing stupid buttons, that would be perfect.

Limbaugh is a traitor to his own country because he is actively dividing the people in a time of crisis. He's one of the most arrogant people I've ever heard and his followers sound like parrots, repeating whatever Rush says as if they have lost the ability to think for themselves. He is clearly hateful and is enjoying spreading his messages of hate. This is his way of feeling powerful.

Get a grip, Limbaugh.. no one.. I mean NO ONE has reason to be afraid of your evil spewing of lies...and that is what it is... just as you said on Larry King years ago, you are NOT about truth you are about entertainment! The only people who take you seriously are the white sheet and cone hat crowd.

"Now this is the great unifier," he told listeners Monday. "This is the man who's going to unify everybody and usher in a new era of bipartisanship and love." Well, I have to say that you, Mr. Limbaugh, are the worse divider in this nation. You have no morals whatsoever! Sad, but true.. you are down right wicked. And you may hope that Obama fails... but I pray that you fail! You are hypocrite and a liar! 🙁

What on earth does Obama hope to gain by baiting Limbaugh? It's mystifying that the President, who has been urging bipartisanship, is engaging in such sophomoric behavior. Is he bored or something?

We are all afraid of you Rush, at least we are afraid of what you represent: the worst of our hates and fears given far more attention than is good for the country. As a Republican, I am ashamed.

I really hope that the Republican party takes a long, hard look at itself when the party spokesman is a man who partly lost them the election, dropped out of school, and continues to receive treatment for drug abuse.

What does it say about you when you think the most powerful man in the world is afraid of you? He sure has an over-rated sense of self importance.

Rush Limbaugh is a tired and old recovering drug addict who should be serving time for his drug related crimes. Instead, he's got a platform from which to spew pure unadulterated ignorance. If this is who the Republians get their infromation from, it's no wonder they're so out-of-touch. I guess Rush represents that kinder and gentler group of folks the first President Bush used to talk about. Ha!

I think Mr. Limbaugh is more afraid of his job disappearing than President Obama is of him. As if the President would even consider such nonsense from a no-brainer Limbaugh. Mr. Limbaugh speaks with self-serving hatred in order to create discord which guarantees he'll continue to have a job, as he continues to spew pollution at otherwise good human. Has Mr. Limbaugh considered a cap and trade for this pollution contribution? If not, maybe someone ought to inform him that would be a good way to offset his negative presence, and maybe deflate his "out of this world" ego – wow, talk about inflated! How can any grown adult like Limbaugh look at himself in the morning and not wonder how even he can take himself seriously. I mean really – get real Limbaugh. Maybe considering getting a real job that actually contributes something to the betterment of society instead of your stupidity. Signed – a conservative from Seattle, who uses her intelligence as well as her common sense by "God forbid" listening to self-serving rampages of clearly stupid talk show hosts.

Rush Limbaugh should be investigated by the FBI , Homeland Security and NSA since he publicly made a statement "he hopes Obama fails". Is this a patriot speaking who hopes for a better America? Is this someone who wishes the new president and cabinet and elected members of the house well? Is this someone who wishes this country falls flat on its face because we have a Democrat for President, and a majority of those in the house are Democrats?Or, is this cancer of society still spreading hate and bigotry and prejudice. Does this little man really want Obama to fail to justify his positions and statements which pander to the Far Right
extremists in this country? Why wasn't this man prosecuted for illegal use of drugs years ago – the same drugs he condemned people for using? He is a threat to the security of this country and a traitor to this country when he states he hopes Obama fails! The American people have spoken – they are ready for change – and even though many did not vote Democrat, they are patriotic Americans who now hope for a better future and are willing to support Obama and his choices. What is wrong with Limbaugh? Maybe he is a true terrorist to this country.

Limbaugh is a non-issue anymore. No one takes him seriously. He's just a pathetic old man with a pathetic old message of fear and hate. Devil's gonna love it when this one's time is up. A real trophy keeper for hell's hotel.
