Limbaugh: Obama is 'frightened of me'

[cnn-photo-caption image= http://i2.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2009/images/01/26/art.rush0126.gi.jpg caption=" Conservative radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh responded Monday to recent reported comments by President Obama."]
(CNN) - Radio host Rush Limbaugh said Monday that President Obama is “frightened of me.”

“He’s obviously more frightened of me than he is [Senate Minority Leader] Mitch McConnell,” Limbaugh told listeners. “He’s more frightened of me, then he is of say, [House Minority Leader] John Boehner, which doesn’t say much about our party.”

Limbaugh’s comments followed reports Obama warned GOP congressional leaders last week that they should stop listening to the conservative talker, who had said on air he wanted the new president to fail.

"Now this is the great unifier," he told listeners Monday. "This is the man who's going to unify everybody and usher in a new era of bipartisanship and love."

White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs gave reporters the administration's latest message to Limbaugh at Monday's press briefing: "Tell him I said, 'Hi,'" he joked.

Its so sad for this individual (the word 'man' does not apply) to keep working to get press time by continuing to try to divide his own party and the nation. We all need to wish him a speedy recovery as he must be sick. That's the only explanation I can come up with since he continues to be spew the same dribble since the Clinton days. Time for this 'airbag' to get some new material.

Limbaugh has an inflated ego based on little evidence of the same. He spews nonsense and has never adequately explained his drug problem.

Limbaugh is a joke. His comments about McNabb revealed a latent racism and now he is like a spoiled brat who didn't get his way because the country is tired of corrupt Republicans. You know that it burns Limbaugh that an African-American is now President. Instead of focusing on trying to tear down Obama, Limbaugh should try to focus on outlining what he thinks the policies should be. Hopefully, the Republican party can rebuild itself and put forward a message that is positive and speaks to more than a narrow minority of Americans. To do so, it needs to adopt improved ethics and set out a clear message around a limited and focused role for government. I think people figured if government is going to spend a ton of money, it may as well be the Democrats spending it as the Republicans.

Mr. Limbaugh is a prominent figure in the "liberal right" of the Republican party. The "liberal right" advocates lies, hate, and immoral methods like torture along with being very arrogant. He along with many members of this group ask how the Presidential election could have brought the Democrats into office. They just need to look at the person in their shoes. They are the reason, in advocating the absurd points of view they shout. We only need to fear him (them) when we do not recognize him for what he is and allow ourselves to be fooled in electing those that agree with him.

What kind of ignorant moron would wish the country to fail? What a tool! Perhaps Obama isn't afraid, but like the rest of the educated world chooses to ignore stupid comments from a wased up drug addict?

Limbaugh needs to shut his mouth! The dems won the election and he is sore loser. I invested my vote in Obama and have full confidence in his ability to move in the right direction to pull this country out of the mess Bush (or was it Chaney?) left us in.

Just keep your big mouth closed and watch. I do not believe for one nanosecond that Obama is afraid of you .... or anybody else for that matter.

Unfortunately, as long as Limbaugh is on the radio, the more racist the GOP looks. If it wasn't for people like Limbaugh, I and many of my friends would be Republicans. My conscious would not let me support the party because of him and bigotry. I have heard him say a few things that make sense, but majority of his comments are so ridiculous that I can not believe people listen to him.

If something happens to Obama, he will definitely be part of the blame. Then what would he say. "He deserved it". His hate is filtering through our society, and people who can not distinguish entertainment from the truth really get caught up on rhetoric. It is really sad. This country is going under and we still can not unite. God Bless America!

    M. He didn't say he wanted the country to fail. He said that he wanted Obama to fail,if his policies are going to be socialist. May I ask if you wanted Bush to succeed, and if so, what you contributed to that proposed success?

    Back on the Pills, Limbaugh?
I'm pretty sure President Obama can take you mentally or physically.... But whatever you need to tell yourself to feel better at night...
Maybe you should take some of your own advice and see the world through the administration's eyes... oh wait, you put party before country...that's right.

I really hope with all the things that President Obama has on his plate that giving a (Bleep) about what a an egotistical right wing talk show host has to say should be the farthest thing from his mind. In fact I really think that Limbaugh may be afriad that the GOP might start listening to the things President Obama and Gen Powell have said about him and take their advice. I used to think that Democrats were wimps and the biggest whiners, but since Nov 4th the far right has been the biggest sore losers and whiners I have ever seen. And their leader Limbaugh is the worst of the bunch.
