Limbaugh: Obama is 'frightened of me'

(CNN) - Radio host Rush Limbaugh said Monday that President Obama is “frightened of me.”
“He’s obviously more frightened of me than he is [Senate Minority Leader] Mitch McConnell,” Limbaugh told listeners. “He’s more frightened of me, then he is of say, [House Minority Leader] John Boehner, which doesn’t say much about our party.”
Limbaugh’s comments followed reports Obama warned GOP congressional leaders last week that they should stop listening to the conservative talker, who had said on air he wanted the new president to fail.
"Now this is the great unifier," he told listeners Monday. "This is the man who's going to unify everybody and usher in a new era of bipartisanship and love."
White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs gave reporters the administration's latest message to Limbaugh at Monday's press briefing: "Tell him I said, 'Hi,'" he joked.

Limbaugh says he wants him to fail, and then when Obama says something about it Limbaugh accuses him of sowing division? Seems like a double standard, Rush.

After hearing so much about Rush Limbaugh for several years, I recently started to tune into his radio show. I think I like this guy. He has a lot of guts, As for Obama, I voted for him,. I regret it already.

Obama understands that in order for people to unify they have to quit listening to dividers. Rush doesn't understand it's less about fear and more about avoiding being pulled under by persistant negativity. He's like a cat basking in suhine... he probably cast his vote for Obama just so he could have a thicker pot to stir and hope to net more listeners with his vitriol.

Its quite clear that drug addiction clouds the mind and may cause actual physical damage to the brain. This of course would account for the inhuman comment of wishing failure on anyone especially the President of the U.S.
HHHMMM he didn't say he wanted the country to fail, if you listen to the entire post, not the Michael Moore/ Hamas edition, which you undoubtedly did. What he said was that he did not wish for Obama to turn the country into a socialist wasteland, which is what he feels is the direction that Obama is moving. People complained about the executive branch under Bush being too powerful, but Obama has signed in more executive orders in his first week of being president than I can remember Bush ever doing. I guess that if supplying American money to provide abortions overseas is a good economical strategy, Obama is a genius, or maybe he is just trying to make the US numero uno in the Ms. Popularity contest again, which for some reason matters to some of you libs.
How come you did not report on Limbaugh's bipartisan economic plan he proposed today and his offer to discuss it with the Obama administration? That seems more newsworthy than the glib comments Rush Limbaugh or Robert Gibbs said.
I wish Limbaugh would go and spread his hatred elsewhere, most Americans are sick and tired of listening to this windbag. Obama is a unifier, and it is quite obvious that Limbaugh just can't stand it! I actually feel kind of sorry for Limbaugh as anyone who would spread such hatred and lies must really have a bad self image, probably why he got into drugs in the first place. Deal with it Limbaugh...Obama is here to stay. Try cleaning up your act, it has become not only old, but very boring.
