Limbaugh: Obama is 'frightened of me'

[cnn-photo-caption image= http://i2.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2009/images/01/26/art.rush0126.gi.jpg caption=" Conservative radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh responded Monday to recent reported comments by President Obama."]
(CNN) - Radio host Rush Limbaugh said Monday that President Obama is “frightened of me.”

“He’s obviously more frightened of me than he is [Senate Minority Leader] Mitch McConnell,” Limbaugh told listeners. “He’s more frightened of me, then he is of say, [House Minority Leader] John Boehner, which doesn’t say much about our party.”

Limbaugh’s comments followed reports Obama warned GOP congressional leaders last week that they should stop listening to the conservative talker, who had said on air he wanted the new president to fail.

"Now this is the great unifier," he told listeners Monday. "This is the man who's going to unify everybody and usher in a new era of bipartisanship and love."

White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs gave reporters the administration's latest message to Limbaugh at Monday's press briefing: "Tell him I said, 'Hi,'" he joked.

Narcissism at it's finest. I seriously doubt that the President has one second to even think about Limbaugh. Right or left, extremists are only that – extreme.

Who cares what Rush Limbaugh says? I don't mean that to be trite. In all seriousness, CNN, there are tons of shock jocks out there – aside from wanting to titillate, what possible justification could there be for including this non-story as a national news headline!?

What a great oke! Limbaugh is one of the great radio comedians of all time, so who would be scared of him? Really, that is the punch line of the latest Limbaugh joke. Anyone who actually takes him seriously doesn't understand satire. He is simply a walking, talking parody of the usual political idiots. nothing he has said in the last 20 years means anything. He's just an entertainer, making a lot of money. Period.

Please, please, please, stop publishing his stupid statements.

Why doesn't Limbaugh tell his listeners the truth, that he is not for Medicare or S.S. Why help the poor, only the rich are important to him. He just like to get people mad. He is all hot air. He should be afraid of President Obama ,because Limbaugh might be out of a job when his people see what we see. It's all an act to make money. This drug addict is telling us to be afraid of one of the smartest people alive. I guess he might be too smart for Limbaugh. Limbaugh your days are numbered, if the drugs don't get you first.

I don't understand why anyone listens to any of these extremist talk show hosts, Conservative or Liberal. That they persist in leading the easily provoked into an unnecessary and senseless culture war is ridiculous.

That said, Rush Limbaugh is of no particular merit – he is a relic, and is swiping out now more than ever because he can sense his relevence fading. There is no venom in his bite.

Oh pleeeze!!!!! Who does this creature think he's kidding?? Who, in thir right mind, takes Limpbag- – excuse me Limbaugh – seriously?? Yeah, I guess over at Faux News they do but the rest of America is laughing in his face. The only person afraid of anything is Limbaugh being afraid of becoming irrelevant to everyone but himself.

Tons of Republicans don't listen to Limbaugh already. Many of them don't agree with his idiotic stances. It's only the hardcore shotgun pumping drunk-laden Republicans that still listen to him. Plus, there's music on the radio to listen to. Who wants to be depressed during their day because of that douche bag?

Oh, please! Check the ego at the door. The only thing to fear is the number of low IQ morons who think this mean-spirited, sit-down comic is concerned about what is best for America instead of what is best for his own pill-popping, wife divorcing-bottom line. Just another gift from Florida that keeps on giving...like a social disease.

What a bafoon this drug addict is. Who does this Dufus think he is that our president is scared of him. What an empty suit. What an empty talking head. Even my 22Ib cat would not give this dysfunctional reptile any attention. This guy should be with Sarah Palin and Joe the Fake plumber socializing with Putin, from Palin's porch driniking Vodka.

Limbaugh is a bag of wind. The only thing that scares me is that so many of our otherwise intelligent citizens actually listen to him and take him seriously. That's *very* scary!

Rush Limbaugh is an arrogant, conceited, self-centered jerk. Does he really think President Obama worries about Mr. Limbaugh's opinion of him? I think the President has more to be concerned with right now than whether or not Mr. Limbaugh wants him to fail. As Mr. Obama said on election night, "I will be your president, too." That includes you, Mr. Limbaugh. Get a grip.

Oh, yeah–Obama is scared of a viagara- and oxy contin-popping gas bag who frequents the sex trade in the Dominican. Yeah right. The drugs are REALLY ripping this guy's brain apart.

    Mr Limbaugh...

In your latest ratings ploy you have obviously overstepped the boundry between reality and fantasy. Please just go back to what you like to do best, take your meds and enjoy the luxuries of the south florida lifestyle....

And to think I used to like this guy. Rush needs to grow up and come out of the studio – he's been sitting in the dark too long and is more detached than Siamese twins after surgery.

Why doesn't RL run for president so that he can make the USA the country of his dream. Yes, what a noron would pray for his country's failure. I know he is a drug addict and I am sure he talks under the influence. RL, why don't you check yourself in at Dr Phill's clinic for some help? Americans do not need help from a crack head moron like you.Go clean up.
