Limbaugh: Obama is 'frightened of me'

(CNN) - Radio host Rush Limbaugh said Monday that President Obama is “frightened of me.”
“He’s obviously more frightened of me than he is [Senate Minority Leader] Mitch McConnell,” Limbaugh told listeners. “He’s more frightened of me, then he is of say, [House Minority Leader] John Boehner, which doesn’t say much about our party.”
Limbaugh’s comments followed reports Obama warned GOP congressional leaders last week that they should stop listening to the conservative talker, who had said on air he wanted the new president to fail.
"Now this is the great unifier," he told listeners Monday. "This is the man who's going to unify everybody and usher in a new era of bipartisanship and love."
White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs gave reporters the administration's latest message to Limbaugh at Monday's press briefing: "Tell him I said, 'Hi,'" he joked.

It's good to see these great "patriots" cheering for their own leader and country to fail after putting the nation into the toilet. I guess it's un-American only if someone else is rooting against the nation, not when people like Rush do it.
It is completely irresponsible for someone like Limbaugh to say he would like to see Obama fail.....It saddened me greatly that someone with such a huge platform to do goodwill would project to the public this sentiment...Regardless of which side of the fence you stand it would be a nice change/challenge to see the US back on it's feet...

If Rush has admitted that he wants to president to fail.. wouldn't that be the very symbol for treason.. to say that you want your country to do poorly, that you want your country to fail?
How is this guy any different than a terrorist who wants to see our country fail? He may not be killing people or destroying property, but he is trying to instill the idea in people to let our country go down in flames just because it's switched over to democratic leadership... he's trying to start a rebellion before even giving Obama the chance to actually do his job.
Maybe I was wrong about Guantanamo Bay... maybe we should keep it open with a special cell reserved for Rush.
