Limbaugh: Obama is 'frightened of me'

[cnn-photo-caption image= http://i2.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2009/images/01/26/art.rush0126.gi.jpg caption=" Conservative radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh responded Monday to recent reported comments by President Obama."]
(CNN) - Radio host Rush Limbaugh said Monday that President Obama is “frightened of me.”

“He’s obviously more frightened of me than he is [Senate Minority Leader] Mitch McConnell,” Limbaugh told listeners. “He’s more frightened of me, then he is of say, [House Minority Leader] John Boehner, which doesn’t say much about our party.”

Limbaugh’s comments followed reports Obama warned GOP congressional leaders last week that they should stop listening to the conservative talker, who had said on air he wanted the new president to fail.

"Now this is the great unifier," he told listeners Monday. "This is the man who's going to unify everybody and usher in a new era of bipartisanship and love."

White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs gave reporters the administration's latest message to Limbaugh at Monday's press briefing: "Tell him I said, 'Hi,'" he joked.

Rush needs to rush off the radio for good. I wonder why he does not any kids? Is he married? He sounds really unhappy and angry? He is an idiot, only a small sect of people listen to him, and they all have one thing in common, figure it out.

Rush wants our President to fail. In other words, he wants America to fail. He wants the country to suffer in a recession and into a depression so he can say he is right. Al Franken was right. Rush is a big, fat idiot.

  7. I was right!

liberal vitriol throwing will commence in 3,2,1....

top reasons I still listen to Rush....

    1) He has been mentioned more than Tony Rezko since BO took office
    2) He has the innate ability to raise a liberals blood pressure simply by opening his mouth, this never fails
    3) He has more influence on millions of americans than does any other one person
All because of a microphone and a dream

If only the media would stop reporting his every grunt we would be off much better, He is such an ugly man. And he clearly wants America to fail; what kind of patriotism is that?
Go back to your pigsty, Rush ,where you belong.

Limbaugh is afraid of being revealed as irrelevant and is desperately trying to keep his drug-addled face in the news. It's appalling the way he keeps trying to pick a fight when he's not even interesting, creative or amusing. Go away, Rush. You & Bush can still get a boat and have that 'private time' you've been wanting.

Rush is just another old-timer whose views are obsolete and irrelevant. I wish he'd get back on the pain killers he was addicted to, he seemed somewhat more pleasant then.

No one is scared of Rush. He is, in a word, irrelevant, and should be allowed to drift into the inky blackness of the abyss of cultural insignificance upon which he has teetered for years.

What a sad pathetic joke. The truth is this moronic windbag is terrified of the fact that he is TOTALLY IRRELEVENT. I will not waste time on this sad excuse for a man except to say Americans should realize what his ex-wives finally wised up to, there is no there /there. Your 15 minutes are long over, and if you had any dignity or brains (and you don`t) you would just fade away.

Once upon a time, wasn't Limbaugh significant to the lowest common denominator? Poor drug addict, doesn't he realize that his dish it out but can’t take it style is no longer relevant?

Let us first remember Rush could not cut it as a NFL announcer. It was his stupidity and words that got him fired. A few years ago, he puts himself in rehad for drug addication. Now, he's bad mouthing President Obama and stating, " I hope he fails". Is this the time to hope that our President fails? The President has only been in the White House less than a week. Thousands of Americans by the month are losing their jobs and homes. Rush is an idiot. He is a waste of skin and hair. This guy is a cancer to the American media.

Limbaugh is a fat, arrogant, no good person. He obviously is not a Christian or he would know that the Bible specifically states in the scriptures that we are to pray for our leaders. Limbaugh is a disgrace to society. He is just a trouble maker on all levels. NO ONE, I say, "NO ONE SHOULD LISTEN TO THIS MAN". Perhaps He is the anti-christ, so beware.

We all have a choice to make in the world. Do we want to be part of the solution, or a part of the problem? Our country is in great need of people that want to work together to be part of the solution. To wish that the nation's new leader will fail, is not only selfish but foolhardy as well. What a sad piece of humanity dear old Rush is. I've got just one question, Rush. What have you done in your many years on Earth to make this world a better place? Please don't use your many years of obnoxious ranting and raving-that doesn't qualify as better-just loud! Me thinks that you are one of those big pieces of the puzzle that would qualify as a part of the problem. What a waste!

to all you dumb liberals, I hope Obama fails too!, what Rush said,
" he did not wish for Obama to turn the country into a socialist state. so he hopes he fails, not the country" DID we hear any liberal DEM say they hope Bush would would do a great job when he was pres.
Why would we wish OBAMA to turn this great country to a socialist state?
