Limbaugh: Obama is 'frightened of me'

(CNN) - Radio host Rush Limbaugh said Monday that President Obama is “frightened of me.”
“He’s obviously more frightened of me than he is [Senate Minority Leader] Mitch McConnell,” Limbaugh told listeners. “He’s more frightened of me, then he is of say, [House Minority Leader] John Boehner, which doesn’t say much about our party.”
Limbaugh’s comments followed reports Obama warned GOP congressional leaders last week that they should stop listening to the conservative talker, who had said on air he wanted the new president to fail.
"Now this is the great unifier," he told listeners Monday. "This is the man who's going to unify everybody and usher in a new era of bipartisanship and love."
White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs gave reporters the administration's latest message to Limbaugh at Monday's press briefing: "Tell him I said, 'Hi,'" he joked.

If Rush cares so much about our country and the GOP, why hasn't he ran for any public office??????? A radio show does not count as a public service Rush. The last time I checked you can't propose any bills of law or amendments from behind a microphone.

*Railed against spending, which soared under republican control
*Railed against lobbyists, whom doubled under republican control
*Praised the Bush/Cheney administration for their secrecy
*Defended the Bush/Cheney administration for their support of torture
and a host of other ridiculous statements.

President Obama was simply offering the GOP advice. Their base is free to heed those words or continue listening/dittoing the demagogy of Limbaugh, Coulter, Beck, Hannity, etc. while losing more members & elections.
First off, Limbaugh is not Colbert, he's serious about what he says
Second, may people do not approve Obama's administration yet (the approval ratings for his administration has come down since he was inaugurated)
Third, his version of conservationism, though a little extreme at times, is geared to work on all americans to get them not to depend on the government and to work hard for themselves by them selves.
Finnally, he was only addicted to painkillers, unlike obama who admitted to smoking marijuana and never disclosed how long he had done so. How can you call Rush an addict (he's a former addict) when Obama tread on that path as well?
This shows the faulty logic of the extremists on the right. They attack those who disagreed with the failed Bush Administration as "unpatriotic", but they have not the slightest problem hoping Barack Obama fails, despite what that will mean for the country.
