Limbaugh: Obama is 'frightened of me'

(CNN) - Radio host Rush Limbaugh said Monday that President Obama is “frightened of me.”
“He’s obviously more frightened of me than he is [Senate Minority Leader] Mitch McConnell,” Limbaugh told listeners. “He’s more frightened of me, then he is of say, [House Minority Leader] John Boehner, which doesn’t say much about our party.”
Limbaugh’s comments followed reports Obama warned GOP congressional leaders last week that they should stop listening to the conservative talker, who had said on air he wanted the new president to fail.
"Now this is the great unifier," he told listeners Monday. "This is the man who's going to unify everybody and usher in a new era of bipartisanship and love."
White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs gave reporters the administration's latest message to Limbaugh at Monday's press briefing: "Tell him I said, 'Hi,'" he joked.

He might be right that Obama is frightened. Most people who listen to this pill popping whack job are just as crazy as he is, but don't have the millions to keep them for going all out crazy on conservative fascism. Rush does it for the money – people who listen actually believe.
To state the obvious, what a piece of work Limbaugh is...after misrepresenting Obama's economic plans (Obama never said he would "absorb" banks as Limbaugh claimed the other day) and stating that he hopes the new president fails, he expresses outrage at Obama for suggesting people turn off the vile, uninformed, self serving crap that he calls his radio show. Perhaps Limbaugh is afraid that if enough people stop listening, he'll lose his meal ticket and will have to go back to living off the government, as he once did. As for Obama being "frightened" of him, I think it's apparent to any clear thinking person that Limbaugh is not good enough to clean the screen on Obama's Blackberry.

Rush needs to check himself; is he so despondent over the whipping that the republicans took in the election that he doesn't know how to think straight and develop intelligent commentary for his radio show. It isn't that President Obama is scared of Limbaugh. Look Obama's plan represents driving a truck with a very important load in its carrier. Eyes focussed on the road ahead making sure we dodge all the debris along the way so that we make this long drive safely. Limbaugh represents...well....you know....that goofy looking clown that stands out right next to the highway waving some silly banner to distract you and get you to come into a Chucky Chesses or something like that.
