Limbaugh: Obama is 'frightened of me'

[cnn-photo-caption image= http://i2.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2009/images/01/26/art.rush0126.gi.jpg caption=" Conservative radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh responded Monday to recent reported comments by President Obama."]
(CNN) - Radio host Rush Limbaugh said Monday that President Obama is “frightened of me.”

“He’s obviously more frightened of me than he is [Senate Minority Leader] Mitch McConnell,” Limbaugh told listeners. “He’s more frightened of me, then he is of say, [House Minority Leader] John Boehner, which doesn’t say much about our party.”

Limbaugh’s comments followed reports Obama warned GOP congressional leaders last week that they should stop listening to the conservative talker, who had said on air he wanted the new president to fail.

"Now this is the great unifier," he told listeners Monday. "This is the man who's going to unify everybody and usher in a new era of bipartisanship and love."

White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs gave reporters the administration's latest message to Limbaugh at Monday's press briefing: "Tell him I said, 'Hi,'" he joked.

Ah yes, this is coming from the man that can't handle his own life so he has to take Percocets to cope with being himself.. Great credibility.

Rush tells the truth, folks. Seems all the politicians lie. Get use to the CHANGE. Our president was correct when he said,"It's going to be rough for a while...could it be they caused this...Mr. Secretary of the Treasury and all..best guess is they do NOT know how to fix it...better listen to Rush.

Like I said about Blago......just another sociopath running around loose in America. Someone please shut these people up! Who are the idiots paying these people's salaries and who put microphones in their faces? We, as a society, need to stop feeding the insanity with all of the attention they crave. Let's get back to some state of sanity in this country.

If any of you actually listen to the show – and had half a brain – you would know that Rush does not want the new president to fail. These rediculous Ticker posts rarely put the information in the right context – especially if it is a conservative view point.

Rush said that from what we know about some of President Obama's planned policies, he hopes he fails in getting them implemented because he believes the policies are bad for the country.

When he says that President Obama is "frightened of him" it is not a literal – he is making the point that President Obama seems more concerned with his comments of opposition – rather than the republican senators and congressmen – which is a sad state of affairs for the republican party.

It's hard to believe that anyone with intelligence would look to this fat, uneducated, drug addict for answers on anything but maybe I've answered my own question. The man can't even control the amount of food that goes in his mouth on a daily basis but he wants to tell everyone how to run our Country. If he were ever in a position of power he would sell us all into slavery for a 1/2 gallon of ice cream.
Limbaugh is a loud mouth with a microphone who sells advertising. He is desperately trying to keep his name in the media because he knows the vast majority of people in our Country don't want to hear him. He wants Obama to fail. Well guess what, if Obama fails the economy fails and we fail. Go pop a pill and eat a chicken fried steak Rush but shut up.

radio people are so great. all they have to have is a good voice. obama went to harvard Limbaugh went to Southeast Missouri State University and failed after two semesters.

it's funny how so many educated people listen to a man who couldn't succeed at a 3rd rate school.

It seems that all the left can do is continue with their childish ways, attack people they don't agree with by calling them names. If you felt that those things that Rush has said are false then prove otherwise with FACTS, not namecalling.

Rush never said that he wished for the country to fail, he only hoped that the policies that Obama pushed for that were socialist ideas to fail.

Rush is doing no different than you haters of him did while spewing hate against Bush.

Thank God for free speech. Only America gets it (I've lived in 4 different countries and speak from experience). Let Rush dig his own extra-wide, oxycontin-lined professional grave. Before long, it'll be him and the good Rev. Phelps saving us from ourselves.

Hey CNN, why should I give a flip? This has to be the most sophomoric article I've seen here... and that's saying a LOT. This is elementary school playground gossip. We're sick of hearing this bull! CNN, don't you have anything more important to report?

I actually confronted Rush at the ATT Pro-Am in Pebble Beach several years back. He looked me in the face and said nothing. Guess he only has courage when he is in front of those who agree with him.

The only person that thinks anyone is afraid of Rush is Rush.

OH, I am glad President Obama spoke about personal responsibility.

We seem to be a nation with our hands out...get your heads out of the sand, grow up and move on. Take control of your own destiny.
