Limbaugh: Obama is 'frightened of me'

[cnn-photo-caption image= http://i2.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2009/images/01/26/art.rush0126.gi.jpg caption=" Conservative radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh responded Monday to recent reported comments by President Obama."]
(CNN) - Radio host Rush Limbaugh said Monday that President Obama is “frightened of me.”

“He’s obviously more frightened of me than he is [Senate Minority Leader] Mitch McConnell,” Limbaugh told listeners. “He’s more frightened of me, then he is of say, [House Minority Leader] John Boehner, which doesn’t say much about our party.”

Limbaugh’s comments followed reports Obama warned GOP congressional leaders last week that they should stop listening to the conservative talker, who had said on air he wanted the new president to fail.

"Now this is the great unifier," he told listeners Monday. "This is the man who's going to unify everybody and usher in a new era of bipartisanship and love."

White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs gave reporters the administration's latest message to Limbaugh at Monday's press briefing: "Tell him I said, 'Hi,'" he joked.

Wow. Rush sounds like he's afraid. Could it be that Limbaugh and Coulter are realizing that the policies that they pushed foward are finally being rejected by the American people? Listening to them you would have thought Obama just squeaked thrugh the election. That is a lie. The electoral map shows Obama got 365 electoral votes. Poor Rush. It's a shame when reality crashes in.

Rush Limbaugh is grasping for attention now that Bush is out of office, he's like a screaming toddler, throwing a fit that the Republican party no longer dominates the government.
You might even say Limbaugh is afraid of Obama now that his audience has vanished.

Poor Rush! He counts his millions but he really doesn't count anymore, relegated as is now to the fringes of the American electorate, the Pluto of the Republican Party.

It is truly astonishing how the Communist Nonsense Network filters out all rational posts and will only post the liberal lemmings. "Appropriate for posting" means far-left ideology.

Yeah we're afraid of idiots that actually listen to him for their mental health because it's expensive on the taxpayer to medicate them.

Obama's overwhelming victory in the polls, and all the positive energy surrounding him are likely to result in at least one thing: listenership to the EIB network heading down.
The better Obama handles problems, the less people will care what this extreme ideologue radio talk show host has to say.
When the EIB Arbitrons head down, Limbaugh will lose stations, and eventually head back to the obscurity his views deserve.
It won't happen over night, but then neither will the economic turn around.
He may think he has "talent on loan from god" but basically he has airspace on loan from advertising revenue.
And when that revenue goes, so will his stardom.
It happens to every media figure eventually. With comments like that we can hope the end of his days are coming soon.

    Dear R in Florida,

CNN has published your "ideas" on this blog. And the fact that you have politics to the far right of genghis Kahn is irrelevant. What is relevant is that you seem to believe in socialism for the rich or at least you ignore it. And worse you whine when you can't wait for the CNN editors to to their thing. I think this forum is too smart for you.

This guy is a waste of space who is in dire need for attention. Everything that comes out of his mouth only makes sense to his buddies alike who doesn't want what's best for this country and who only think of themselves-so selfish and ignorant.

Are you serious? Why in the world would someone be afraid of you...unless you are going to sit on them and they can't push you of and have to listen to you ramble all day! You are fool to think that our the new president of the United States of America is afraid of one radio host. The man faced Hilliary Clinton and she is by far the brightest and strongest fighter that the democrats have had in years. You are just trying to stroke your ego because a lot less people are listening to you and you need to make up some type of excuse to make you feel better.
