Limbaugh: Obama is 'frightened of me'

[cnn-photo-caption image= http://i2.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2009/images/01/26/art.rush0126.gi.jpg caption=" Conservative radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh responded Monday to recent reported comments by President Obama."]
(CNN) - Radio host Rush Limbaugh said Monday that President Obama is “frightened of me.”

“He’s obviously more frightened of me than he is [Senate Minority Leader] Mitch McConnell,” Limbaugh told listeners. “He’s more frightened of me, then he is of say, [House Minority Leader] John Boehner, which doesn’t say much about our party.”

Limbaugh’s comments followed reports Obama warned GOP congressional leaders last week that they should stop listening to the conservative talker, who had said on air he wanted the new president to fail.

"Now this is the great unifier," he told listeners Monday. "This is the man who's going to unify everybody and usher in a new era of bipartisanship and love."

White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs gave reporters the administration's latest message to Limbaugh at Monday's press briefing: "Tell him I said, 'Hi,'" he joked.

    Absolutly. Freaking. HILLARIOUS!!!

The more Rush can be provoked into burning down his own house, the better off all thinking, rational persons are. So prod away at him White House (and President Obama), please. The more he shrills, the more marginal he becomes, and the more he pulls all the extreem right-wingers along with him.

Well, any self-respecting minority would fear someone who stirs up racial hatred the way this guy does. Although I doubt very much Obama or the Secret Service are overly concerned about this fat pill-popping loudmouthed neo-con nazi-wannabe. People like Warren got a seat at the table because they engage in a mutually respectful dialogue. Limbaugh does nothing but make millions off sowing hatred.

Actually Rush, we are all afraid of you and considering your drug usage, you do, you are the one who has failed. I can't speak from our new president but I can only guess that afraid is the wrong word for what he thinks of you. Terrified, repelled, junkie, irrational, idiot – any of these is far more likely.

Rush can be known as "the great divider and usher in an era of hate", or wait a minute, that was the last president he supported.

Rush Limbaugh need to understand that Obama is Frightened of how stupid and idiot one person can be, and of course his followers.
I'm so glad that we as American finally brought someone smart and with plan to save our nation, to power. Otherwise there would of been no more hope for this country.

Sounds like Rush is feeling left out. Obama isn't talking to Rush because Rush isn't worth talking to.

Limbaugh said he wants Obama's liberal policies to fail – I, and 47% of the country who voted for McCain, do also.

I want Obama to be successful at endeavors that I agree with – that's America. I don't care who won the election.

Limbaugh, WHAT KOOLAID ARE YOU DRINKING? Or is it the drugs again? Why on earth would President Obama be afraid of you? You did everything you could to prevent his election, and were remarkably ineffective. You are less and less relevant to the world and the U.S. To hope that he fails, at the cost of this entire nation, show was a megalomaniac you are. Do us a favor, turn down the volume, or put on a different tune.

Personally, I'm not sure why anyone listens to Limbaugh at all. It's all the man can do to spread hatred, anger and ridiculously overblown, self-important bull. Of course it IS a free country and he is entitled to his opinion I just wish he would shut up for a while... just his voice alone makes me nauseous.

Geez, when will Limbaugh learn to shut his big mouth? Obama is frightened of him? Whatever. Go pop another pill, you windbag.

Obama IS scared of Limbaugh...just as he is appropriately scared of any poisonous cancer on the cultural landscape of our nation. Terrorism is the deliberate attempt to frighten a population. By definition, Rush is a terrorist – intent on spreading fear wherever he finds the audacity of hope.

The Republican party, former President Bush(thank goodness on the former part) and Reagonomics is what caused this country to go down the tubes. If Obama can't fix it, then you know the above mentioned people really screwed us. If anybody takes Limbaugh serious, they're as big of idiots as Limbaugh. He's trying to save face because his party's philosophy ruined the country and world.

Limbaugh's venomous rhetoric reveals his intense fear and paranoid tendencies. His belching has made him irrelevant and redundant. Too bad! He was good for a few laughs!

This guy is a self-absorbed, divisive buffoon. Why does any well-reasoned individual care what this shock jock says? Oh well, guess he is laughing all the way to the bank, he has a huge NASCAR-type crowd following. Go figure.

Well Rush..you are kind of scary. Your opinions carry with them an unfortunate combination of weight and malice. Your ideas seem dimished by the sheer gravity of the hubris with which they are expressed. In other words, you are a blowhard. Tone it down and maybe someone will listen.

I don't understand this guy. How can you hope for the leade3r of a country to fail? Especially during this recession? And Obama has been in office for a little over a week? And he has already done more for our country and science than Bush has in 8 years? I don't know, Limbaugh is out of his mind!
