Limbaugh: Obama is 'frightened of me'

[cnn-photo-caption image= http://i2.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2009/images/01/26/art.rush0126.gi.jpg caption=" Conservative radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh responded Monday to recent reported comments by President Obama."]
(CNN) - Radio host Rush Limbaugh said Monday that President Obama is “frightened of me.”

“He’s obviously more frightened of me than he is [Senate Minority Leader] Mitch McConnell,” Limbaugh told listeners. “He’s more frightened of me, then he is of say, [House Minority Leader] John Boehner, which doesn’t say much about our party.”

Limbaugh’s comments followed reports Obama warned GOP congressional leaders last week that they should stop listening to the conservative talker, who had said on air he wanted the new president to fail.

"Now this is the great unifier," he told listeners Monday. "This is the man who's going to unify everybody and usher in a new era of bipartisanship and love."

White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs gave reporters the administration's latest message to Limbaugh at Monday's press briefing: "Tell him I said, 'Hi,'" he joked.

If I want the opinion of a drug addict, I will go to Keith Richard's web site. This wind bag is dead in the water. The ground has shifted under his feet and he is totally unaware. He is even less relevant than Karl Rove.

If I were President Obama, I would not respond to any of Limbaugh's comments and I would strongly recommend that no member of my administration respond to any of his comments as well. I simply would not waste any time or energy on this racist, drug addict, wack job of an individual. What a joke!!

My problem with this is why is the President if the US adressing citizens directly?if he wants to keep the spirit of bipartisanship he should of addressed the right wing nut jobs and the left wing nut jobs I have seen an equql amount of most on these blogs and on talk radio, both sides need to be addressed, you personalize it when you single out one individual, that is very un presidential.

Rush Limbaugh is an over-paid, over-rated egomaniac. He gets paid millions of dollars to spew his opinionated crap. He should run for president since he seems to have all the answers. Fat Rush and Little Hannity should run in 2012. We can call it the Egomaniac, Know-it-All ticket. They can hire Caribou Barbie to hold their signs and wink at the crowds. "Yeah, Ya Betcha!"

He needs to get a life. I don't think Obama can do any worse than Bush. That's why this world is so messed up now. I don't think Obama is afraid of him, he just does not have time to listen to a man that ignorant.

What is frightening is that there are so many people out there who are gullible enough to listen to and believe this obnoxious windbag... what a scumbag... he preys on the uneducated people out there who cannot think for themselves.. they are sheep waiting to be led over the nearest cliff by a smooth talking politician or fanatical religious leader... and Limbaugh? He is more than happy to accommodate them! In fact, happy to... he is getting rich doing so!

Obama: educated, obviously intelligent, newly elected leader of our beautiful country who is loved, supported and followed by a sweeping majority of America and the rest of the world.

Lim-boo: fat-mouthed airbag whose significance faded long before Obama's campaign began, both within his party and beyond.

Come now, Rush. Are you serious, or are you still experiencing the side effects from all those prescription meds? Nobody cares what you think.

To my recollection, Obama is the first sitting President to:
    1. Publicly attack a private citizen (Rush) for simply voicing his views. First Amendment, anyone?
    2. Dictate to the public who they should and should not listen to. "Stop listening to Limbaugh" (and by extension, all conservative voices), he commands.

After this, that so-called "Fairness Doctrine" is going to look mighty Gestapo-esque.

Limbaugh, now that is someone I trust! Let me see, which university did he graduate from? Just what this country needs, more of the same, a clown with a microphone. I suppose his high school education can save this country? Didn't think so!

Rush Limbaugh's influence is clearly not what he'd like it to be–Obama has an 80% approval rating. Rush's bombastic swipes are an attempt to get attention for his waning cause. Obama is unlikely to sustain this kind of approval rating, but it appears that the conservative era may be coming to an end and that America's government is being returned to its people.
