Limbaugh: Obama is 'frightened of me'

[cnn-photo-caption image= http://i2.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2009/images/01/26/art.rush0126.gi.jpg caption=" Conservative radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh responded Monday to recent reported comments by President Obama."]
(CNN) - Radio host Rush Limbaugh said Monday that President Obama is “frightened of me.”

“He’s obviously more frightened of me than he is [Senate Minority Leader] Mitch McConnell,” Limbaugh told listeners. “He’s more frightened of me, then he is of say, [House Minority Leader] John Boehner, which doesn’t say much about our party.”

Limbaugh’s comments followed reports Obama warned GOP congressional leaders last week that they should stop listening to the conservative talker, who had said on air he wanted the new president to fail.

"Now this is the great unifier," he told listeners Monday. "This is the man who's going to unify everybody and usher in a new era of bipartisanship and love."

White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs gave reporters the administration's latest message to Limbaugh at Monday's press briefing: "Tell him I said, 'Hi,'" he joked.

Limbaugh is a drug infested clown. He should go somewhere out of the country and never return again. He has serious mental problems, it's unfortunate he's able to get so much attention. Send him over to Iraq to help fight in the war. Maybe he'll come to his senses.

Rush do not fool yourself. you are just vying for attention like a 2 year old. Obama should ignore you and not waste his time.

Good ole Rushy must be on drugs again. That fat, right-wing extremist slob is definitely in love with himself. Sorta reminds ya of Sen. Boehner and his foolish buddies.

We are ALL afraid of Limbaugh! How about finding a lonely atoll (he doesn't even deserve an island) for him and Palin to rule –

If anybody needs to fail right now in this moment in time, it is Rush Limbaugh. Thankfully the day of this kind of rhetoric is done. Rush is a washed up has-been and apparently he knows it. If anybody is frightened of anybody, it sounds like it just might be Rush who is frightened of Obama. He should be, at any rate, because if Obama is successful in bringing our nation together again, then there will be precious few people interested in wallowing in the verbal vomit being spewed by foam-at-the-mouth neoconservatives like Limbaugh.

Rush – should be in jail, and with a new justice department, perhaps he will be – druggie jerk!

  7. Rush Limbaugh's a Big Fat Idiot

    >>>> Rush Limbaugh : Largest talk show audience with 20 million listeners and growing!! How do you Libs explain that???

I'd explain it by noting that there's 20 million idiots listening to the radio. Of course there's also over 35 million smokers in the US ... with numbers THAT big, must be the right thing to do LOL!

Rush Limbaugh is a joke. He should be placed in jail for messing up the economy with the Republican Party.

Rush Limbaugh has always been full of himself but up until Bill Clinton became president in 1993 he still had an interesting show and I always loved tuning in to listen to the different topics being discussed.
During the time the Clintons were in the White House Rush Limbaugh became more and more bitter. For some reason he is afraid of Bill and Hillary Clinton and even now as he speaks of them you can hear the frustration and fear in his voice.
It is sad to see how uninteresting his show has become over the years. Once in a while now I will tune into his show, hoping I will hear a spark of how it was in past years, only to turn it off after only a few minutes because it is the same old mess day after day.
If the truth were to come out I think Rush is really afraid of Obama.

Hey liberals, osama obama won the election so why should you be so concerned with RUSH? I forgot, you only want freedom of speech for certain (socialist American haters) citizens. The fact that this "pill popping loser" as so many of these people like to call him and yet he makes national news by a few comments speaks volumes about his influence.

How much change will we see? Who knows, but think back to 2000 and 2004, did any of you want Bush to succeed with ANYTHING? You know the answer to that.

Rush Limbaugh thinks much too much of himself. I cannot bear to listen to anything that he has to say. In my opinion, he is the most hateful, racist person I have ever heard. There is nothing positive that comes out of his mouth.

Why this guy is still even on the air is a true mystery. How about all the pill popping this fool did. Obama is not scared of this guy, this guy isn't even in the same league as Obama. He is just some want to be shock jock that is looking for ratings. How sad is the state of the republican party when people like limbaugh represent their party.

Rush has to go. He is beyond freedom of speech. He attack our president without cause. Calls him a coward and accuses him of being afraid of him. He is worst then Bin Laden. Rush has to go. Rush has to Go! Rush has to Go! He's only going to get worst if no one stop him. Then others will follow.

We should all take comfort in knowing the majority of US citizens stop thinking that people like Rush are important. Thank goodness for free speech and that we are all Americans...even those that are not nice! We should feel sorry for Rush and his followers. They live in a nation where the President's name is Barack H. Obama. Rush has to awake each day knowing that his President is not white. He has to live with the fact that his party of choice was wrong. That has to hurt and make him angry and bitter. You have to love this stuff...this country! Amazing! Barack-on! Let's just pray and laugh at Rush! I know I am>>>>>

Both Limbaugh and Hannity are nothing but big cowards. They can get behind a microphone and spew their hate but I bet they won't go out in a public group and do it unless it's a room of right wingers. To prove this a few years back when Rush made his stupid comment on Monday Night Football, instead of staying there fighting for what he believed in he tuckd his tail between his legs and ran away. Yet behind the mike he was the big man. I bet even Michelle Obama could whip Limbaugh's behind in a one on one fight. He's a wuss.

Anyone who loves America is also hoping that Obama fails..........that is, fails in doing the many insane, harmful, and stupid proposals he has made while running for president. (If someone was trying to burn down your house, wouldn't you also hope that they fail.)

Walter .... There is a logical explanation of the 20 million that watch Fox and the Limbaugh show. People LOVE comedy.

People – It is important to understand that Rush is doing in this situation what anyone might do who finds that their opinions, beliefs or philosophy are no longer relevant. He is grasping for straws through the absurdity of his message(s) – anything to "shock and awe" the public in hopes that the limelight will remain on him. In these cases, it is always best just to walk away from such childish behavior – ignore it and he will go away sooner. Again – his message of inciting hate and divisiveness is no longer relevant.

Hey Walter there were 125,225,901 votes cast. Who really cares if 20 million outdated Americans listen to Rush Limbaugh. Its called the far right and your becoming less consequential every day. That's how Libs explain it.
