Limbaugh: Obama is 'frightened of me'

[cnn-photo-caption image= http://i2.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2009/images/01/26/art.rush0126.gi.jpg caption=" Conservative radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh responded Monday to recent reported comments by President Obama."]
(CNN) - Radio host Rush Limbaugh said Monday that President Obama is “frightened of me.”

“He’s obviously more frightened of me than he is [Senate Minority Leader] Mitch McConnell,” Limbaugh told listeners. “He’s more frightened of me, then he is of say, [House Minority Leader] John Boehner, which doesn’t say much about our party.”

Limbaugh’s comments followed reports Obama warned GOP congressional leaders last week that they should stop listening to the conservative talker, who had said on air he wanted the new president to fail.

"Now this is the great unifier," he told listeners Monday. "This is the man who's going to unify everybody and usher in a new era of bipartisanship and love."

White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs gave reporters the administration's latest message to Limbaugh at Monday's press briefing: "Tell him I said, 'Hi,'" he joked.

I think its time for Limbaugh to dissappear. He should be ashamed of himself for expressing such strong views in wishing Obama failure. I've been Republican all my life and its idiots like him that are killing this party

Obviously, Rush's problems with prescription drugs impacted not only his brain. His ego has also suffered as a result of his dependence on prescription drugs that once gave him the high he craved.
Rush is trying to recreate that high by making remarks like "Obama is frightened of me" it makes Rush feel powerful and important, despite the fact that he is neither powerful or important.

Let me get this strait: Our new President who is a well conditioned athlete for his age, a first rate intellect who was Editor of the Harvard Law Review, and the most powerful man on the planet.– is afraid of a former drug addicted, bloated, loud-mouthed, knuckle-dragger with a third rate radio show?

Limp-Paw's ego is astounding. This person adds nothing of any value to the world or American society. Of course he doesn't care if the current administration fails he still get his overinflated paycheck from the idiots who employ him. But afte rall everything about him is overinflated.

Rush does have value. As I went door-to-door campaigning for President Obama, if my energy and enthusiasm flagged, I would turn on Rush and a wonderful infusion of adrenalin pushed me forward. "It's an ill wind(bag) that bloweth no man to good." (Heywood)

Limburger is becoming irrelevant and those who still listen to him are the reasons why this country political system is failing. Although I do owe him gratitude because he is the reason I left the republican party years ago.

Rush, why don't you just go somewhere and "cuddle up" with Sarah Palin??!! You two deserve each other!! If you think President Obama (THAT'S RIGHT!!!.......GET USED TO IT!!!) is scared of you and then to say that you hope that he fails, then you MUST be still taking one of those drugs that you were taking a couple of years ago!!! That just goes to show how MUCH (or in your case, how LITTLE) you care about your country. Because if he fails (which I pray with ALL MY MIGHT that he WILL NOT!!!) then we as a nation will fail (that would include YOU as well "birdbrain")!!! I take it though you've never heard the statement: "It is better to keep silent and thought a fool, than to speak up and remove all doubt." You sir, are the meaning to the phrase "ignorant moron"!!!

You want facts? Here's the facts, conservatives:
When Bush took (stole) office in 2001, this country had a SURPLUS. By 2000, the surplus was gone. We now have the highest deficit the U.S. has ever had. Unemployment is the highest in 30 years, and Bush left office with the lowest presidential approval rating EVER. Four months ago people could barely afford to buy gas to go to work. The gas prices suddenly came down during the elections, much to our astonishment – how ironic.
Miraculously, after all the mayhem that's went down during this administration, Nancy Pelosi proclaimed that impeachment is off the table (What? Payoffs?). No one in the administration's had to testify, claiming "executive privilege." This is the first time anyone's ever heard of "executive privilege." My GOD, people!
Someone explain to me how this man isn't at least as crooked as Nixon was. He's used his presidency to further the monetary growth of hundreds of his crony businessmen at the expense of the United States, and you conservatives have the GALL to accuse the Liberals of being un-american. Shame on you.

Rush is in the entertainment business, if you comment on anything he says or does he is getting where he wants to go, funny so many people that consider themselves conservative listen to a drug deal/user on a daily basis on the radio. I mean come on people this guy is so old news, and i am not even a democrat...... Find someone with a good moral image that is a true conservative to be the voice of the Rep., not this guy...

LOL, you got to be kidding me! This lush drank his own kool aid!

Exactly who does this oxycontin moron think he is? If he can do a better job than the elected officials we have in office , why doesn't this Pillsbury dough boy run for office? The Republicans are paying him millions to be the silly hick he is just to keep him off of any Republican ticket as a candidate for any elected office.

Whew, I have finally stopped laughing long enough to finish. President Obama afraid of him? LOL

Hey Lush Dumbaugh, do us all a favor – DON'T REPRODUCE!
Now remember, you are being paid to be the village idiot so you won't attempt a serious run for office on the Republican ticket. Psst, they really don't want you around.
