Limbaugh: Obama is 'frightened of me'

(CNN) - Radio host Rush Limbaugh said Monday that President Obama is “frightened of me.”
“He’s obviously more frightened of me than he is [Senate Minority Leader] Mitch McConnell,” Limbaugh told listeners. “He’s more frightened of me, then he is of say, [House Minority Leader] John Boehner, which doesn’t say much about our party.”
Limbaugh’s comments followed reports Obama warned GOP congressional leaders last week that they should stop listening to the conservative talker, who had said on air he wanted the new president to fail.
"Now this is the great unifier," he told listeners Monday. "This is the man who's going to unify everybody and usher in a new era of bipartisanship and love."
White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs gave reporters the administration's latest message to Limbaugh at Monday's press briefing: "Tell him I said, 'Hi,'" he joked.

Okay, so the story may be old by now but I am not very bugged by Limbaugh. He is like the character Lonesome Road, played by Andy Griffith, the first of this ilk, drunk, or pill high, with his own grandeur of opinion. His hope of our President failing shows Obama has hit a real sore spot for this arm of the 'Publican party. They represent the 17 to 20 percent of those who think Bush was god's prophet and they really lost the election. As long as Limbaugh has so little a minority listening to him he is no threat. Let him think he is someone to fear in his oxycontin haze and Rolls Royce ride. For everyone else it is drugging for him is just, well, hell, no one knows.
As to the personal attacks against him, STOP. It just feeds his ego and that of his ditto heads. He is a professional entertainer and deserves that and nothing else.
He is Hollywood all the way and deserves no more vitriol or oppobrium than that. He celebrates the FIrst Amendment and has a right too. Remember Lonesome Road self-destructed and Limbaugh will also just like his much vaunted ultra-conservative ditto heads.
As it is I want Obama to succeed because he won and Limbauch can't stop the American vision and he knows it. Go, Obama, go. Time for America to advance and no oxycontin narcs are worth paying attention to.
I think "terrified" is more appropriate. But, in true Fidel/Hugo style, Rush will be silenced under this regime.
I think Rush needs to take his meds, his bipolar god complex is so out there. He must still be on drugs. At least Obama quit.
If Limbaugh had any sort of consideration and sympathy for the condition in which our nation is currently finding itself, he would refrain from making comments that divide. 20 million listeners? Take some resposibility. The solution to our problems is not pointing a sour finger, but rather making intelligent observations, commenting and discussing productively.

Last I heard obama was crack addict himself. And for all of you left wing nuts if Rush didn't matter you all really do talk a lot about him. I'm am part of the right wing conspiracy who hopes Obama does fail because the second he took office we became less safe. I also do not want my money to go to some bum who didn't make the right choices and didn't work hard to get it.

We are all frightened of the mentally ill. Limbaugh is the most un-American, treasonous and corrupt human being that I have witnessed in my 60 years on this earth. He should be forgiven because I doubt that he has the mental capacity to comphrehend half of the gibberish he spews. It is the people that listen to him that concern me.
